Day O2 & My New Lenses! :3 // 4月30日 //

I've decided that because I'm going to be posting the meme so frequently, that I'll put two posts in one! This is because I have so many things to blog about and I don't have time to blog daily D:

Stef was visiting me this weekend, and because the weather was so crap we didn't really go out :/ However that didn't stop me from dolling up! Another reason for dolling up was because I received some lenses from my sponsor that I really was excited in trying out >//<

So, ladies and gentlemen, my new lens! :3
You may have already seen them in my last post, but I only included one picture of myself wearing them~

My eye make!

D.I.A top, Reveal shorts, Primark thigh high socks,
Dorothy Perkins' heels.

Today's meme is to include a picture (or pictures, in my case lololol) of myself and to include 15 facts! Sounds really easy doesn't it? That's what I thought at first D: but it's actually pretty hard to think of 15 things that aren't the same >_>

Anyways, here goes :3

1. I'm incredibly lazy and hate exercising, which is why I don't do any. The most exercise I do is walk to uni or to town OTL
2. I have a pretty darn amazing boyfriend <3
3. I'm studying Graphic Design and I love my course! But I wished that I designed more in my free time than lazed in front of the computer doing nothing ^^"
4. I wish I was a genius at something, 'cause then I wouldn't have to work so hard to get only good grades, not brilliant ones :/
5. I love art and design
6. I'm half Chinese
7. I'm pretty crazy when I'm with my friends, and can talk to people quite easily.
8. I've had bad experiences with memory sticks, but I still rely on them for all of my files OTL
9. I have astigmatism which is a b*tch.
10. I've never had a hangover, ever.
11. Not gonna' lie, I'm a bit of a poser.
12. I get distracted really easily
13. I love dolling up and feeling pretty, especially when it's for a special occasion.
14. I'm really crap when it comes to games; I'd get crazy over it, but after a day or two I'd get bored and never play again lololol.
15. I spend most of my day in front of the computer. I'm so addicted to the internet <3

Me and my bby <3

That's all for now! I actually really like these meme posts tehe~ Gives me more things to blog about!

Sponsored Review: Toric Magic Gray Black

Please note that although this is a sponsored review, the thoughts and opinions stated are 100% my own.

I received my pair of circle lenses sponsored by e-circlelens ! I was really happy that they did astigmatism lenses, as I couldn't wear normal ones ;_; The ones I'm reviewing here are the Toric Magic Gray Black and here are the details displayed on their site:

This Lens's CYL is up to -3.00.
Water Content
using cycle period
1 year
Approved by
They always replied to my emails quickly and were able to keep me up-to-date on what was going on, so I'm going to give them 5 stars!

Postage and Packaging
Unlike most circle lens distributors, the lenses arrived in around 2 weeks! Wow o_O I was expecting it to arrive in like at least 2 months, so was very surprised when I got an email from them saying that they had sent the lenses.
The lenses came in a little box, and inside that there were leaflets on how to take care of your lenses, how to put them in, and also some leaflets of their company. The box was filled with these polystyrene tubes to protect the lens, even though the lenses were encased in a polystyrene case and put into a purple bag! They really did think of everything, and I was really pleased with this.
As well as the lenses they provided a little travel lens case! Awesome!

However I was a bit confused because on top of the circle lens bottles they wrote down the power rather than having it typed up... I think this might be to save time and money printing out labels with power, but I'm not too sure. Anyhow nothing was damaged and the lid was really tight (so tight that I had to use scissors to get them off lolololol).

Image of the lens from their website
This has to be one of the prettiest lens I've ever seen, as they blend so well with my natural colour! Above are pictures of one in, and then both in with no makeup, and then both in with makeup. Even though they're only 14mm in diameter they make my eyes look huge because of the thick black border. Amazing! I look really doe-eyed when I wear them.

I managed to wear these for a whole day without having any problems with dryness! They were a bit dry at first because I haven't worn circle lens in ages but after five minutes they were fine.

Overall I was extremely happy with these, and shall definitely buy more of this series! Not only are they Toric lens but they also make my eyes look huge even with a small diameter. They are extremely comfy and nothing was damaged at all. E-circlelens were amazing and provided me with much more than I imagined (like the travelcase) and I was very happy with their communication and postage.

To purchase these lenses click here! Or view their website to see what they have in store for you! They have loads of styles to choose from, and their service is brilliant. I would highly recommend them!

Me with ma' new lenses ;D

Day O1 - When did you start dressing Gyaru?

So me and the lovely Alice decided to create Gyaru 30-day meme together! We did this by mixing together a few existing memes and then changing them for Gyaru~
And you are more than welcome to use it! :3 Just give us some credit tehehe~

We're going to do it every three days instead due to our busy schedule, and today is "When did you start dressing Gyaru?"

I stumbled across Gyaru when I decided that Lolita was not the best fashion for me. I just couldn't see myself wearing it in public, and even though I found it beautiful I just felt uncomfortable after I tried it out a couple of times. I wished that I could wear it with the confidence that other Lolitas had, and I didn't have the support from my family whenever I did try it on...
Luckily I didn't even wear it properly and didn't really own any Lolita items, so it was easy for me to leave the fashion. I started wearing clothes that were girly and that led me onto my craze for Hello Kitty.

For two years I wasn't in any kind of fashion, just floating away and wearing whatever clothes that I could get my hands on, so most of the time I was just wearing jeans and t-shirts. Nothing special really. Then - I can't really remember how - I was just surfing on Google when I came across another fashion; Hime gyaru. I reminded me so much of Lolita but then I realised that there was another substyle called Hime-kei which I could possibly wear. I decided to research further and found all of the other substyles of Gyaru, and fell in love with it straight away.

It was because I could actually wear Gyaru that made me love it, and I was amazed by their makeup and hair. But I still had the n00bness in me and thought that I could get away with wearing BARELY ANY MAKEUP OTL

How the hell did I call this Gyaru? o_O sdkgjbskdjfbgf .

Unfortunately I was like this for a while -_- But then I finally began to make some improvement when I had my first ever advice from Kogal Panel.

From then on I decided that I actually really liked this fashion, and started to get pretty serious. I started doing a lot of research for more tutorials and magazines and started to try out casual styles. That's when I started talking to Amelie who was my first ever Gyaru friend :D And she helped me out a crap load! After a couple of weeks I was then part of Delight - a UK Gyarusa that has now unfortunately disbanded - and did my best to improve even more.

Trying out bottom lashes for the first time!

That's when I bought my first pair of Japanese lashes, and that changed the way I did my make entirely! I began to focus more on trying out different styles and shades of eyeshadow. I also experimented with different hair styles and bought more clothes.

For a couple of months I changed my style from Hime-kei and casual Gyaru to a more dramatic side of things. That's when it became my anniversary in Gyaru... Which has just passed 3 or 4 months ago ^^ So this is a picture of where I am now!:

Rainy days and a questionnaire for you all! // 4月25日 //

Eurgh it has felt like an age since I last posted... I am so not used to posting just once every week or so now which is a good thing I guess as I really want to post more frequently on here.
But my interesting life pretty much ended as soon as uni started; I am dedicating most of my time to my uni work, so I hardly have any time to doll up anymore. It sucks because I really do fancy curling my hair and what-not every now and then, but I just don't have the time.
I'm working a lot more as well so there's another reason why I can't doll up. Wearing tons of makeup isn't really the way to go when you're working at the cashier lololol.

I did manage to find the time to do my makeup yesterday though, as I went on a trip to London for uni to see an exhibition hosted by GFSmith (a papermaking company). They create the most beautiful kinds of paper... And I brought home some samples ;D I'll include pictures of the exhibition on my art blog here .

So anyways, this was my look! I didn't have the time to take pictures so these were taken on the train where the wind just decided to mess my hair up a bit >_>

We popped to Nandos for lunch just before the exhibition~

Me and Jess! Sorry for the blurry photo D: Bad lighting ><

I had this chicken wrap thing and it was amazing *_* So so tasty! I hope to make something like this~

Could you please do this lil' questionnaire for me? My friend is doing research about online identities for her university project so she really really needs your help. Please help her <3

1. Why are you interested in Gyaru?
2. Give 5 things that inspire you and your style and why. (Please give links)
3. Give one negative and one positive aspect of being a Gyaru.
4. How long do you spend on average per day on Gyaru related activities? (If possible, split between online and offline)
5. How do you define yourself online?
6. What sites and blogs do you use to keep up to date with Gyaru styles and communities? Why?

The other stuff
7. Age:
8. Location (Just countries are fine if you don’t want to give more detail):

Thank you so much in advance! :D

[[Edit]] Please write this in a blog comment! ^^ I've also cut it down! [[/Edit]]

I've decided to shorten my giveaway deadline to the end of May! This will be right after uni finishes so it's perfect timing for me~
