Purikura Special!

UPDATE: I have now included a video at the bottom on how to get there! Thanks, Abii!

Wow this is so late; it's nearly 10pm and I've done JACK SH*T in terms of work OTL. Truth is that I've been having way too much fun hanging out with my close friend Charli (and uni work can wait a lil' while for once, aha).
Before I start rambling I would like to say a big thank you to all of those who commented on my last post, it really means a lot to me! I think from now on I'm going to blog when I am inspired to, but I think it's going to take a bit of time so please bare with me <3

Charli just recently got back from Japan (the lucky b*tch) and we decided to meet up when she got back as I missed her pretty face. We've agreed to see each other more often which is awesome! I'm so looking forward to the summer where we could do some decent shopping and general "hanging out" and things, gonna' be so good.
So today I wanted to try out soft agejo! I had this MA*RS top for aaaages but only recently did I get the skirt so it was the perfect time to wear them as a set, and here are some pictures of my look for today! For some reason the lighting in my room was perfect so made me happy tehe.

We met up at the usual place, and she brought back this MA*RS dress that I wanted and some of lashes by Sakurina! Thank you so much darling <3 loves you!

To our dismay we found out that the purikura place is closing down! I don't know how I'll live without that place as it's the main attraction for whenever I go to London ;_; The closing date hasn't really been fixed yet but they said that if business is really good then maybe they'll keep it. So we took some purikura first because there's this amazing special offer and after lunch we decided to take one more set to get the three-sets-for-£29. It's such a good price because I heard that the photo sheets are ridiculously expensive. We definitely took advantage of this moment!

Something I need to get off of my chest

It's been really annoying me lately so I've decided to write a blog post about it because I really need to get it off my chest.

Truth is that I'm really stressing out. Ever since I said how I'd post every Sunday I've been finding myself thinking along the lines of "Oh I need to do something for Sunday" or "I need to doll up". What I'm trying to say is that because of this schedule I haven't been able to work around it and blog or doll up whenever I feel comfortable, and it's all because of setting myself a date.

I'm not too sure what's going to happen now but I'm trying to fix it. I might have to go back to what I was doing before and just blog whenever I feel inspired to or have the chance. This is my blog after all; a collection of my thoughts, achievements... not homework.

Now I'm not saying that I hate blogging because I love blogging. It's as if I'm talking to you right now and I just love receiving little comments as it really makes my day that people actually read the crap I write. Even getting views makes me happy, and even happier when I receive new followers.

I shall let you all know what my plans are on my Facebook page as I've been using that a hell of a lot more. So if you wanna' "get in the know", please follow my Facebook page!

Guess that's all I have to say for now. Phew, I feel tons better!

Feel free to leave me any suggestions on what I can do <3 What do you prefer? Your opinions mean a lot to me!

What's in My Makeup Bag?

Hey guys!
Wow this week has been crazy (or crazier than I expected). My uni work is finally looking up and I've changed my mind on how I was going to do it into something that I actually like. I'm designing wedding invitations for it, y'see, and at first I wanted to do something minimalist but discovered that that's really not me and blah blah blah. But yeah, I feel tons better now :D
I realised that I don't really talk about my uni work in detail - I mention being stressed about it quite a lot but never actually talking about it. Basically I'm studying Graphic Design and I love it! I'm more into illustration than web design but hopefully over the summer I can try out more tutorials and things.

Would you guys like to see my work from time to time? Maybe in a little section or something? I really wanna' incorporate it more into my blog because design is a pretty big part of my life, but as this is a fashion/lifestyle blog I'm not really too sure...

I've not been able to dock out in full gal though (like doing pretty hair) as I found that I've either only had time to do my makeup or my hair ;_; So just been wearing my usual lashes with eyeliner etc. Hopefully I'll be able to doll up this weekend so y'all can see my face in the next post aha.

Eurgh anyway onto the subject of this post; I've finally been able to take photos of my makeup bag! So let's have a look, shall we?

This is my makeup bag that I take everywhere. Seriously, there is not one place I haven't took it and I basically take it with me whenever I go on holiday or to sleepovers etc. I think it's because it doesn't really show up dirty when I make a mess with my makeup (the blushers in particular!)

The Versatile Blogger Award & Race for Life

Holy crap it's Sunday already.
Sorry that this post is a little late! Even though it's only a couple of hours behind I felt so bad when I realised I had missed my "post time". Dammit! At least it's still Sunday aha.

Thing is, I don't have a clue of what to post! While I was wracking my brains for an idea I suddenly had a comment from the lovely Rin who had given me an award! Thanks Rin, you've saved me ;D

Rules rules rules:
  • If you are nominated, you have been awarded the Versatile Blogger Award
  • Thank the person who has given you this award. That's common courtesy
  • Include a link to their blog. That's also common courtesy
  • Next, select 15 blogs/bloggers that you have recently discovered or follow regularly
  • Nominate those bloggers for a Versatile Blogger Award
  • Finally, tell the person who has nominated you 7 things about yourself

Okidos! Let's do my nominations first then shall we? This one was actually pretty easy for me as I've followed quite a few new blogs recently! :3

Okay so now 7 things about myself:

Black & Gold: Meetup with Charli!

On Tuesday I met up with one of my closest friends, Charli! I haven't seen her since October and because she's going to Japan soon for a couple of weeks I wanted to see her before she went~ I really miss seeing her, and we've both agreed to meet up more often now that I've settled in a sort of timetable thanks to my new job :D

For some stupid reason I woke up ridiculously early and I realised that my promise ring had disappeared! ;_; I had been wearing it for over two years, and I still can't find it.. I'm so heartbroken because although I had misplaced it a couple of times I always found it within ten minutes. I had searched every nook and cranny within this room (as that was where I had put it before I went to sleep) but it's nowhere to be found! ;_;

Because of that I couldn't go back to sleep, and although me and Charli said that we would go all casual I decided to try out sujimori. It was a massive fail so I tried doing some flicks instead, but even then it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be so I quickly curled the bottom. Apparently having sujimori with straight hair is a lot harder than with curly hair so next time I'll just curl it.
