What's in My Makeup Bag?

Hey guys!
Wow this week has been crazy (or crazier than I expected). My uni work is finally looking up and I've changed my mind on how I was going to do it into something that I actually like. I'm designing wedding invitations for it, y'see, and at first I wanted to do something minimalist but discovered that that's really not me and blah blah blah. But yeah, I feel tons better now :D
I realised that I don't really talk about my uni work in detail - I mention being stressed about it quite a lot but never actually talking about it. Basically I'm studying Graphic Design and I love it! I'm more into illustration than web design but hopefully over the summer I can try out more tutorials and things.

Would you guys like to see my work from time to time? Maybe in a little section or something? I really wanna' incorporate it more into my blog because design is a pretty big part of my life, but as this is a fashion/lifestyle blog I'm not really too sure...

I've not been able to dock out in full gal though (like doing pretty hair) as I found that I've either only had time to do my makeup or my hair ;_; So just been wearing my usual lashes with eyeliner etc. Hopefully I'll be able to doll up this weekend so y'all can see my face in the next post aha.

Eurgh anyway onto the subject of this post; I've finally been able to take photos of my makeup bag! So let's have a look, shall we?

This is my makeup bag that I take everywhere. Seriously, there is not one place I haven't took it and I basically take it with me whenever I go on holiday or to sleepovers etc. I think it's because it doesn't really show up dirty when I make a mess with my makeup (the blushers in particular!)

My Base Makeup

To those gals from the UK; Sleek Face Contour Kit is a must! It is seriously amazing and they have different hades for different skin tones. I use this for my contouring as well as white eye shadow and that pale concealer stick shown in the larger image above.

My friend Bunny gave me the Missha BB Cream and it's so amazing and makes me skin feel so smooth! Unfortunately I've been running low on it, so I bought Maybelline BB Cream as a replacement until I buy another Missha. Maybelline isn't as good for coverage but my makeup shows up on it quite well.

I've been buying this concealer for years now and it's never let me down!

BeautyUK do amazing blushers because they show up really well on the skin and they last for ages!

Eye Makeup

Did I not mention that BeautyUK is pretty much good for everything, make-up wise?

My boyfriend's mum actually bought me this Mally mascara, and I'm so glad she did because it really allows my natural lashes to blend in with my falsies. I love it so much <3

Makeup Removers

Now I've had a few people asking what beauty products I use and the truth is... I don't! My daily routine for skin care is simply dampening a soft towel and "washing" my face (but without the soap). It's basically like splashing water on your face :3 It's so refreshing and it makes me feel "clean".

I do however use two products for removing makeup: Olay Eye Makeup Remover and Simple facewipes! The Olay one is a god send as it's just so gentle but it does hurt when it gets in your eyes. I would totally recommend it to those with sensitive skin like mine.

Last, but definitely not least, the lashes!
I must admit that I'm really really really happy with my lashes collection. At first I was like, "yeah I need to buy more" but it's obvious that I don't. Apart from Diamond Lash; can't get enough of Diamond Lash. I've still yet to try my Gurigula lashes given to me by Amelie ;_; Sorry Amelie!

I had missed this one, whoops!

I guess that's all for today folks! Pretty large post, much larger than I thought it would be, but I hope you enjoyed looking through my makeup collection :D

Yes, there's a but.
That's not the end of it.

*insert dramatic music here*

Talk later and I hope you have a good rest of the weekend! :3 It's so beautiful outside, so I might just go off and do some painting :3 Love you all! <3

  1. I have the same Beauty UK eyeshadow pallets and the Maybelline gel liner. Gel liner is possibly the best thing I've ever discovered. I couldn't go back to using pencil or liquid after using gel liner. I completely swear by it now!

  2. HI Lizzie, I think it would be nice to see some of your work, I know Gyaru blogs are supposed to be about fashion and things, but I think it's nice to put a bit of yourself in there too (outside of Gyaru I mean). I enjoyed looking through your make-up bag too XD I have the beauty UK eyeshadows you have too I love their colours and the price!
