Agejo, Lazy Days & New Look!

Waddya' think of my new layout? It's so pretty and sparkly isn't it? I thought that I needed a new look to my blog because my old one was, well, old. I love leopard print but I was just getting sick of looking at it and I wanted a fresh new start to mark my change in style. I aimed for the more glamorous and girly appearance because of my love for agejo and one gyaru and I think it turned out pretty well! Did all of my graphics in Illustrator and Photoshop :D

Speaking of agejo… I was going to have a very lazy day but whilst doing my lash review for Pixie Bunny it changed my mind and I dolled up! I really didn’t expect it; I was hoping to lounge around in my hoodie and leggings all day but it was still nice to put on a bit of makeup.

Here’s my look for the day! You may have already seen some pictures on my last post, but oh well you get to see it again (you lucky thing you).

I actually really like these lashes although find that they do go slightly upwards… Shall have to find a way to fix that! And I would probably need to continuously brush up on lash glue as well but that’s what you get for being a gal I suppose <3

Like I said, I really did want a lazy day so I jumped back into my hoodie and leggings as soon as the review was done. It was so nice and comfy *_* I love this hoodie! It’s incredibly warm but I managed, surprisingly. Just shows how crap British summers are -_-

Review: Luminous Change Lower Lashes

Remember a few posts back when I went to MCM Expo in London? Well I purchased a set of lashes from the lovely Tania of Pixie Bunny that I had been eying up for a while and promised that I'd do a review for her so... Here it is!

Before I go onto the review I would like to give you a little introduction of Pixie Bunny. As I have already said, it's owned by the lovely Tania (who has a blog here) and she sells a variety of products such as tights, bags, makeup, jewellery and - wait for it - false lashes!

Me & Tania at MCM Expo!

Anyway, the lashes I purchased were Luminous Change Lower Lashes. I've been searching for some lashes that were a cross between Princess Eye and Baby Eye (both by Diamond Lash) so when I clapped my eyes onto these babies I knew I had to get them.

Now I can't really judge on how well her postage was (i.e. how everything was kept in a box etc etc) as I had bought them from her stall, but she did pop it into a really cute pink bag alongside a sticker! So I guess I can give her a booming 5 stars because she didn't just stick it any old paper bag.

So, packaging

No Fear, Bloglovin' Is Here!

UPDATE: Well GFC is still working and you CAN see my blog on your feed so... Follow me the good ol' fashion way! :D But you can do it via Bloglovin' if you want <3

Now I'm not too sure whether or not I've already written a blog post about this - I most likely haven't - but Google Reader is going to close down in about three weeks! Now this isn't really the time to panic because there is another way out, and that's in the form of Bloglovin'.

But before I ramble about how Bloglovin' would save your blogging life, what is Google Reader? It's basically what is on your Blogger homepage where there is a list of blogs and what people have posted on the main part of it. It's like reading a newspaper with all of the headlines of the blogs you follow, and this is what is going to disappear.

So in order to keep up-to-date with the blogs you follow and be able to continue to read blogs, you can sign up and follow them on Bloglovin'. It is so simple to do and would take a maximum of two minutes. What happens is that you sign up on Bloglovin', and once that's done it will ask you if you want to import your blogs onto it and you, obviously, click the button "import" et voila you are done!

Here is a link to a tutorial if you need help navigating Bloglovin': Tutorial

I've actually been using Bloglovin' for the past couple of weeks and I have to say that it's so much nicer to use than Google Reader (sorry, GR!) You could mark the posts you've read as "read", just like an email! Handy.

I would stress that although Google Reader is going, Google Friend Connect (the gadget that you beautiful followers are following me on) is going to stay so you can still follow me on that but then you would need to follow me on Bloglovin' in order to see my blog feed. Hmm.

I would like to thank you all for being such amazingly loyal readers, and I really do hope you sign up on Bloglovin' and follow me there in order to keep up with my posts! :D

Follow on Bloglovin

P.S. Sorry this post is a little out-of-schedule, but I shall be doing another post for you all tomorrow as per :D

My Purikura Collection

In my last post where I met up with Charli I mentioned that the purikura booth was closed down, but when I went onto their Facebook page it says that they are still open for now! They just need more visitors in order to keep it alive, so if you're out and about in London go and check it out :D You can find directions at the bottom of my post here.

I've been taking purikura for a while - not as long as most on here, but I still have a fair amount of purikura! When preparing for this post I've realised that most of my purikura was taken with Charli; we are just too cool brah.

Aaaand here's my collection! From start to finish, for now (that's if the owners decide to continue keeping the booth open!)

Post: Epicly-Awhsum Weekend with PM!
Okay so I can't actually find it but... In October 2011 it was the first purikura I ever took, and that was at the meet with Pink Marble in October 2011! I can't believe that's almost two years ago now... Wow!
Unfortunately I don't have all of the purikura collection... I wish I did because it would've been good memories-wise D: The photo above is the only two puris I own of the event ;_;

The Summer Vibe

I'm really feeling the summer vibe after spending my afternoon in the sun enjoying a lovely barbecue. I really wish that this would last for the whole of the summer but come on, this is England we're talking about.

It's crazy because whenever I think of the summer I think of long holidays, beaches and eating delicious ice cream but now I realise that the summer holiday isn't actually that long with all of the work I have to do. I guess it's a good thing because I'd be really bored otherwise and would probably spend all of my money going out or something!

But no matter how hard I try I will always be spending a lot of money over the summer, so my goal is to save up! My other goal is to work on my portfolio, and another is... Y'know what, I'm just going to do a little list of them!
So I s'pose this is a post about my summer goals I wonder if I'll actually stick to them.

From the Telegraph

1. Save money!
I want to save up as much as I can over the summer but I do know that either way I would be spending, so instead I'll be looking at cheaper options. I'm going to try and stop buying gal brand (sorry, my beloved MA*RS ;_;) and head out to local shops to see if they have something interesting. In my last post I had conjured a little wish list of "local" stores which you can see here. My main focus will be on accessories and I'm gonna' be meeting friends more often too!

2. Read More French
I actually have my dad's book of "Le Bumper Book of Franglais" where they basically take the p*ss out of the French language, but because most of the sentences are in French with just one or two English words thrown in for a comical effect, it should be good to keep me going! I have my little notebook where I wrote good vocab still so I hope to be using that too.

This Is Me

I just realised that in a lot of my posts I doll up a hell of a lot, and I haven't really got a picture of what I look like on a daily basis. On most days - well, on lazy days - I don't usually wear makeup and just put my glasses on but when I go to uni or work I normally wear the "basic" makeup. I don't have time to style my hair either so I normally leave it down or pin it up into a high ponytail.

I'm not too sure if you follow me on Tumblr but I've been recently thinking over my style, and realised that in reality I'm more of an onee gyaru on a daily basis (as you can see on my photo above!) I think I'm just gonna' wear whatever I want and not stick to a style until my agejo wardrobe has been complete! Right now I'm just gonna' stick with "me" gyaru.
Truth is that I'm getting fed up of thinking "oh but would I look gal like this" and so I'm just gonna' do whatever I want that makes me feel comfortable.
