Teeny Tiny Trip to London

teeny tiny trip to london, london photo booth, purikura

It was a lovely afternoon; I had just taken some photos for my beauty review (which you can see in my previous post) and was about to take off my makeup and hibernate in bed when I got a text Chewiee asking if I could meet up with her in London. My friend Amber was free and wanted to see me! She had been in England for about a week now but unfortunately I wasn’t able to meet her because of work… So I was really happy that I had the chance to meet her before she flew back home! I quickly caught the next train to London and before I knew it I was sipping bubble tea and waiting for them all to arrive.

Here, Kitty Kitty...

Hey cuties! How are you today?
This week is yet another review, I hope you don't mind! <3 This time I'm going to be reviewing some makeup and seeing as makeup is extremely important in gyaru, I'm going to do this in more detail so that you guys could add another eyeshadow palette and mascara to your collection.

Get 10% off all Born Pretty Store products by using the code "HORNH10" !

aka "Magic Long Thick Mascara for Long Thick Eyelash Eye Cat Shaped

I only really use mascara on my days off or to let my natural lashes blend in with my false lashes, so I'm going to show two shots - one with just mascara and another with lashes - just so you can see what it would look like with your gyaru makeup! I have to admit that I chose it solely for its super cute packaging... So let's see if it's good as a mascara too!

Mart of China Review: Totem Tee

Hey everyone! How're you?
My little "holiday" is over and now I'm back to what we call the real-life world. Gosh I didn't realise just how taxing work could be until I stumbled home having had a really tiring day. The weather has taken it's turn for the worse as well.... Sigh.

Not that that's going to let me down though, because it's perfect for wearing things like this gorgeous poncho. I haven't worn a poncho since I was like, 8, but I just couldn't help myself to this one from Mart of China. The material is really nice on the skin as well but I couldn't figure out what kind it was as everything was in Chinese. D'oh.

Mart of China is basically a wholesale company where they sell men & women's clothing for great prices, so I'd totally recommend them if you're on a budget. They have a sale going on at the moment which is a bonus!

The item I'll be reviewing is, of course, the Totem Print Batwing Sleeve Summer Tees (a bit of a mouthful, isn't it?) Even though this is a sponsored review, these opinions are 100% my own!

My Birthday "Weekend"

Hey everyone! How's it going?
I had a super fun week this week, you wanna' know why? Because it was my birthday! Obviously not for the whole week but you get my meaning. It was the first time in a while that I actually had a "party" because for the past few years I've either been abroad or my friends were working etc, so I was really looking forward to just hanging out and having fun on my birthday.

My "pre-birthday" event was a barbecue at my house, and oh my gosh it was such a fun evening! I only had a few close friends and my boyfriend, so it was really cosy. I had so much food that I felt like I was having a food baby! I'm drooling at the thought of the delicious barbecued piri chicken... Yum.
I couldn't decide whether to do agejo or himekaji so for my "pre-birthday" event I went for a really soft himekaji look, and for my birthday I wore agejo. I'm falling in love with Liz Lisa even more everyday (it still can't beat MA*RS, but it's getting there). This dress was, once again, sponsored by the wonderful Kawaii Gyaru Shop who I would totally recommend 100%. I noticed that they had some gorgeous My Melody bags as well to all those who are interested in sweet styles such as hime! Enter the code LIZBEE to get a discount!

Sugar & Spice

Hey everyone! How are you?
I’ve had a fantastic week (and weekend) so far; I’m back at home with my family and friends and I didn’t realise how much I’ve missed everyone until I had to drive home. I just couldn’t wait to get past all of the traffic! I guess home really is where the heart is.

I spent the first few days meeting my old friends and having good quality catch-up time, and what’s better to catch up then over some shopping and iced coffee? Below are my three outfits on the days that I went out!

This was my outfit where I met up with my friend Annie, and perhaps the first time I wore "proper" makeup in a long time. As you can see, I couldn’t stay away from MA*RS for long. I’ve decided that it’s going to be hard to completely avoid it so I’m going to keep on wearing it until I’ve built up my hime wardrobe. It was on this day that I started my shopping spree... Whoops.
