Mart of China Review: Totem Tee

Hey everyone! How're you?
My little "holiday" is over and now I'm back to what we call the real-life world. Gosh I didn't realise just how taxing work could be until I stumbled home having had a really tiring day. The weather has taken it's turn for the worse as well.... Sigh.

Not that that's going to let me down though, because it's perfect for wearing things like this gorgeous poncho. I haven't worn a poncho since I was like, 8, but I just couldn't help myself to this one from Mart of China. The material is really nice on the skin as well but I couldn't figure out what kind it was as everything was in Chinese. D'oh.

Mart of China is basically a wholesale company where they sell men & women's clothing for great prices, so I'd totally recommend them if you're on a budget. They have a sale going on at the moment which is a bonus!

The item I'll be reviewing is, of course, the Totem Print Batwing Sleeve Summer Tees (a bit of a mouthful, isn't it?) Even though this is a sponsored review, these opinions are 100% my own!

Top: Mart of China / Shorts: Reveal / Acc: New Look & Muse
I've already mentioned the soft material right at the beginning of the post, but I'm also really happy with it's length because it would look great with a pair of jeans. I'm used to wear long tops and short skirts so it didn't really bother me that you can't see my teeny-tiny shorts underneath, but I think it would also look great with a pair of skinny jeans and heels. However I did get a few stares as people weren't sure whether or not I had anything on underneath... So many it needs to be a little shorter ^^"

The top only comes in one size so if you're slim like me it could hang, so I just had to pull it back slightly so that the neckline wasn't all bunched together. If you want a form-fitting item then this probably isn't for you because of the batwing style! But for me, it was perfect :D

I just love the detailing on it! I was a bit worried that it might get ruined in the wash however it is machine-washable (thank goodness) but as there's no care label, I've kept the tag on it. For some strange reason all of the details are on the tag? Hmm. That could be really annoying in future if I lost the tag...

I guess that's all for now! I hope you found this review useful, and here's a link to it if you're interested:

Have a great rest of the weekend, and shall speak to you next week :D

  5. I know so well what you mean. :( The weather here is super awful lately, too, and it affects my mood and health condition so much. +_+ Work is super exhausting due to it, too.
But I really like that poncho on you, I think it looks great. It's totally my style but I would pair it with jeans, I think. :3
