My Top 5 Gyaru Lashes!

gyaru false lashes, lashes collection, gaijin gyaru

You know that moment when you're supposed to be tidying up but instead get distracted by everything you find? Well, I stumbled upon a whole pack of gyaru lashes that I had long forgotten about which led me to gathering every pack that I had left and putting them all on one pile. It was a huge pile, but despite all of the lashes I have I only use about 5 of them on a regular basis, and thus I was hit with the sudden inspiration to show you all my top 5 favourites!

Gaijin Gyaru Guide: How To Find Your Gyaru Style

Today's post is another installment of my "Gaijin Gyaru Guide" series: how to find your gyaru style! I've been asked this question quite a lot lately and even though I have answered it briefly in the past, I wanted to go into more detail.

First things first - I call myself a "gyaru chameleon" because I tend to flip between styles quite a lot. This is normally based on the weather and how I'm feeling, but my main style is agejo. It isn't a bad thing to not find a particular style and sticking to it. I personally find it more fun! But for those who want to find a style... Well, this post is for you :D So here goes!

Gyaru Nostalgia: Past, Present & Future

agejo gyaru, ma*rs gyaru, lizzie bee

It seems like my MA*RS/agejo hiatus is over! It's been fun trying out different styles but I know now that I can't stray too far from it. It's a shame that the new MA*RS collection doesn't appeal to me, so instead of just limiting myself to that brand I'm going to branch out and do more of a sweet agejo look! (Please note; the style "sweet agejo" doesn't actually exist, I just like mixing agejo elements with cute looks) I tried it out whilst shopping with my friend Amy, and it brought back so many happy memories where I would wear MA*RS nearly every day...

Friday Fright & Halloween Night!

I can’t believe Halloween is over already… It was the first time I could actually celebrate it so I went all out - instead of just celebrating it for one day I managed to do something for the whole weekend. I dressed up, splattered myself with blood (fake, of course) and I had so much fun!

MCM Expo 2015!

I went to London MCM Expo last weekend for the first time in what seems like forever after having missed the one in May. I was really looking forward to it - to check out all of the amazing cosplayers and buy some merchandise, and to also visit my friends at their stalls. I’ve heard that it’s becoming busier by the year, and I kinda’ wished I listened to that because I ended up being such a zombie afterwards!

It was also my first time that I cosplayed! I usually go fully decked in gyaru for Expo but this time I decided to bite the bullet and cosplay one of my favourite characters - Wednesday Addams! It was a really last-minute decision, but I wanted to do something for Halloween and didn’t have any scary costumes. I had to practice pulling a moody face without cracking a smile… Thank you you to Chewiee for helping me out with this! Luckily I had it nailed for expo!
