Hey cuties! How are you today? ♡
I hoped you all had a wicked Halloween last weekend! It was the first time I could actually celebrate it so mine was pretty awesome. Instead of celebrating it on just the Saturday I was able to celebrate it on Friday too, winning!
I thought I was a bit more organised than I actaully was so there was a bit of a last-minute panic on Friday with the whole oh-my-gosh-what-do-I-do-with-my-face but YouTube saved me and I found this super easy but awesome tutorial from there, and out came this look:
Cool, huh? I cheated a little as I couldn't find any red eyeshadow in the local shop so I opted for red lipstick instead. I used the same lipstick for the "veins" as well. It was my most inexpensive Halloween look ever!
My glavil by TuTuHa choker ended up being more expensive than the dress... Kind of wish I took a decent outfit shot now but I couldn't find a decent mirror for it.
This is Halloween
Okay so I was going to caption this as "Halloween Nights" like I did in my title but to be honest... Halloween was the whole day for me! As soon as I woke up on Saturday morning I was buzzing with excitement. So here's what I wore & my makeup during the day!
Dress: boohoo.com / Ears: Pixie Bunny / Choker: Glavil by TuTuHa / Earrings: Claire's Accessories / Socks: Primark / Shoes: New Look
I was a vampy kitty that day without the vampire fangs because I had such a nightmare with them! I don't know why but the putty that I got seemed to stick everywhere but on my teeth?! It was so annoying but I made do.
Me & my boyfriend went out to buy some Halloween goodies and spent the whole afternoon making Halloween treats for the party later on. We were basically the guys that would be working in the kitchen for Christmas, but for Halloween. It was kind of stressful but so worth it! Afterwards I got changed into my Halloween night outfit. And now, presenting...
Yes I dressed as the dead version of my favourite character, Hello Kitty! The wig was terrible and kept molting and sticking to my dress, but I guess it was okay because it was just for the night.
Then we headed off to the party! We got there a bit early to set up, and here are some photos of the goodies we decorated.
I found all of these recipes from the wonderful world of Pinterest! I'm definitely going to use Pinterest again if I do intend to do something for Christmas, but for those thinking of Halloween next year here are the recipes I used: Dracula's Dentures, Ghost Brownies, and Pretzel & Cheese Broomsticks.
Then it was time to party! I didn't really take any selfies... ^^" But here's one of me & Amy and a few taken by my friend James!
What did you guys get up to on Halloween? Would love to hear about your shenanigans in the comments below!
Until next time~ ♡
P.S I'm already thinking of ideas for next year because there are only 364 days left until next Halloween! *shock shock horror horror*
