… Is for my sanity to be intact, thank you very much. But really, though – when my loved ones ask me what I want for Christmas I would create a blog post and it usually includes a really gorgeous bag, that Hermione Granger wand that I’ve been wanting for ages or some really cute pink things like last year… But I’ve never really thought about the non-material things in life. So I’m shaking things up a little bit on this blog as it’ll be the first year that I won’t be doing a “normal” wishlist, but a list of things I want to happen over Christmas.
To be able to spend time with all of my loved ones
Chrismas is for family, but in all of our years of dating I’ve never spent Christmas with my other half’s family. I usually just pop my head round to say “hello” but this year I want to spend 50% with my family, and 50% with his.
For the potatoes to be perfectly roasted
A couple of years ago my family and I were arguing about how to do roast potatoes, and it took us hours to cook them so by the time they were done we were absolutely starving and the chicken was dry. Last year I took the reins and they were a lot better, but this year I want them to be perfect. I want to be able to time everything just right so that I don’t stress at the last minute.
To give my 100%
I want to give my full attention to what’s happening over Christmas Day and not worry about anything work related. A cheeky instagram upload is okay, but I’m going to do my best not to be glued to my phone.
To not be ill
I’m always ill in some form over Christmas and it would be a nice change if I wasn’t this year. I’m currently suffering from a cold and swollen glands as I write this post (typical) so hopefully that means I won’t be ill over Christmas!
For everyone to get exactly what they wanted
Whether it’s through gifts or non-material things like what I’ve listed above. I love gifts in all shapes and forms, especially novelty socks and bath stuff!
So what do you want for Christmas this year, excluding objects?
I’d love to read your comments below!

P.S I’m still going to do a wishlist over instagram because I love doing them tehe.
