And, Breathe

Life passes by so quickly that sometimes it’s nice to just take a step back for a moment, breathe, and then think, “what the hell just happened?!” I was having one of those moments the other day where I was feeling overwhelmed by everything that’s been going on and almost had a complete meltdown… But as if by some magical force, my package from Modes4u* arrived a week later which contained a super cute Rilakumma cup. So I scheduled a time out, slipped into my onesie and made myself some hot chocolate with marshmallows.

And here we are. So, let’s have a little catch-up, shall we?

I’ve been struggling with my personal identity

What kind of gyaru am I? Am I even gyaru? I’ve been trying out different styles and have been really liking rokku, but being the chameleon that I am, I am now back in my agejo phase. Typical. I just can’t seem to stick to one style and it’s no wonder I’m so poor and with a mismatched wardrobe (oops). But I’m going to try and balance the two and just go with the flow!

I got a new job

I really like my new place and the work that I do. It’s quite a challenging role but I’m eager to learn new things and tackling them head on. The people there are really nice too!

We finally booked our honeymoon

It took us a while to sort it out but now we are able to do a massive tick off our wedding to-do list. I’ve still got a lot of things to plan (as I’m such a perfectionist) but I really can’t wait for the big day where I become a Mrs! It’s quite scary, actually, but exciting.

I received some super cute items in the mail from Modes4u*

All of which are main reason of creating this post. I haven’t bought anything cute in a very long time (since Hyper Japan, I think) so when Modes4u contacted me for a sponsored post I immediately obliged. They just had so many cute things such as squishies, Japanese stationery and a little bento box here and there! I picked out this sparkly Rilakumma/Korilakumma cup, a Cinnamoroll donut squishie (which looks fab with my Cinnamoroll phone case) and super cute to-do list to make daily tasks all of the more interesting. I am so happy with everything, and it’s added that extra sparkle I needed in my life!

I attended my first charity ball with my friend Amy

This one was based at the National Space Centre and was dedicated to Ariana’s Hope. It was a lovely experience, and although I felt incredibly awkward at first, the stormtroopers there really were an icebreaker! I’ll be uploading pictures on my instagram very soon.

Soooo how have you been lately? Anything exciting?
Mundane? Good? Bad? I’d love to hear what’s been happening with you! Have you seen the new (dare I say it) Christmas ads? What did you think of them?
