Hey cutie! How are you? Today I want to share with you some himekaji co*de ideas for winter. I’ve been losing the will to dress up now that we’re in our third lockdown and I can’t really go out anywhere, so I’ve been creating some cute flatlays to keep me occupied (and also to remind myself that I don’t really need to buy anymore clothes (ﾉ∀`)). You know that feeling when you look at your wardrobe and think, “oh I’ve got nothing to wear” when actually you bought a dress two months ago that you still haven’t worn haha. Anyway, I’ll stop rambling… let’s go!
Hey cutie! How are you? Weekends have been pretty crazy lately (despite lockdown) as we’re still trying to work on our kitchen. We were supposed to get more stuff done to it the other weekend but then it started snowing really heavily so we weren’t able to go out to get everything we needed. But this worked out quite well as it meant I could have some fun out in the snow (and allowed me to also wear a super cute outfit tehehe).
We never really get snow like this in our part of the UK and oh my gosh, the snow was so THICK! I absolutely loved the soft crunching noise it made when we walked on the snow. Our cat, on the other hand, wasn’t too much of a fan. I wore my favourite Tralala hoodie and leg warmers!
Hey cutie! How are you? Sorry for the late night post haha but I was just waaaay too excited to post this and wanted to post it now! Okay so a few months ago I have finally found my substyle (not that it’s taken me 10 years or anything…) and have since then started to build my himekaji wardrobe, first focusing on winter items. It’s taken a while and I know that I’ve still got a long way to go, but I wanted to create this post anyway to track my progress! I’ll also include some of my favourite outfits with these said items.
Are you ready? Okay, let’s go!
Hey cutie, and happy new year! I originally wanted to dress up to celebrate the new year but instead I’ve spent the day being super lazy and binge watching the Discovery of Witches haha. But today I thought I’d write up some goals for 2021! I’m really hoping this year will be kinder to me than last year (which you can read about over here).
Okay, let’s go! 👌
I can’t believe Christmas is over already… The days went so quickly! 😭 But I had such a lovely time seeing our family 💖 So here’s how I celebrated Christmas 💖
Hey cutie, how are you? So I wanted to quickly write up this post before it’s too late lol because over the weekend I received some pictures from mine and Isobel’s mini photo shoot! I mentioned in a previous post how one of Isobel’s friends took some photos for us for Christmas. Unfortunately it was very dark so we didn’t take a lot… Hopefully next time we can take some more!
I woke up at 4.30am and couldn’t sleep so I decided to write this blog post instead! This is the first time I’m blogging on my phone… It feels strange but I’m really hoping it’ll make things a lot easier! I quickly want to share with you my blog day with my bestie Isobel. We used to do these once a month but it’s been impossible during lockdown. We are now out of lockdown but things aren’t really back to normal so we tried our best!
Good morning cutie ♡ I’m so happy that I have the time to finally write this post! A few weeks ago, right near to the middle of November, I decided to put up all of the Christmas decorations to create the cosiest living room ever. I don’t know about you but this year I’m putting my 100% into the Christmas cheer (usually I just do the tree very last minute and that’s it) because it’s the only thing I can look forward to during lockdown. I’ve actually filmed my whole process over on my YouTube channel which I’ve shared below, but I added more decorations since then, so here are some pictures of how it looks (although now my cat has proceeded to knock off a few decorations from the tree…)
Hey cutie! How are you? Aah I’m so happy to finally be able to share this blog post with you! A few months ago me and my bestie Isobel went out to take some photos for the winter/holiday issue of Papillon. I absolutely ADORE these photos as we took these right at the beginning of my fuwa/moko phase… So you can kind of tell how excited I was to be all dressed up in cute and fluffy clothes! My only regret is that the wind/rain absolutely destroyed my curls, but since then I have mastered how to do it so I’m determined to take more photos next time.
Hey cutie! How are you? Today I just want to say sorry for not being very active on here… I’ve just been really lacking motivation when it comes to blogging. I don’t really know what to write on here anymore, and I feel like maybe I’m annoying everyone with the amount I post (especially now that I’m creating more YouTube videos). Maybe I’ll just write small and casual posts like this and not promote it… And I told myself to do more “old-school blogging”, but it is quite hard to break out of the mindset of having to product ~perfect~ blog posts.
Hey cutie! How are you? Is it sad that I’m actually excited to share this post with you? Ever since my last post I have fully thrown myself into old-school himekaji so here are a few of my recent himekaji coords for Autumn (or Fall, if you’re from America)! By the way, most of these pictures were taken over the past month or so (before our second lockdown).
Gosh it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these posts and I’ve missed it so, so much! Now that we are in our second lockdown I’m trying to create as many outfits as possible for when we go out food shopping (lol) and today I want to show you how I’ve styled a cute Lizmelo in four different ways. My main goal this Winter is to try and wear himekaji as much as possible, and now that I’ve been able to style this dress in four different ways, my goal doesn’t seem so unreachable!
Okay, let’s go!
(The worn photos were taken before lockdown btw).
Gosh, I wish I was like Rilakkuma – spending the whole day napping their worries away, especially now that it’s getting a lot colder! It seems as if Summer has leaped straight into Winter as we are thrown into really cold temperatures. But colder weather means cosier outfits, and here’s one of my latest which is inspired by the cute and lazy bear, Rilakkuma!
A few weeks ago I hung out with my friend Isobel to take some blog pics, go shopping, and eat yummy Italian food! It was really sunny but cold that day, so I decided to wear some cosy himekaji outfits. The other day I felt inspired to start building up my himekaji wardrobe again but I’m finding it quite tricky not to just buy Liz Lisa… Plus, I’m not a huge fan of the new stuff, so it looks like I’ll be heading down the secondhand route! I might try and buy some stuff from Ank Rouge if I find anything cute (again, the old collections).
I’ve been eyeing this 90s baby crop top for such a long time, and couldn’t stop wearing it this summer (which is quite obvious from my YouTube vids and insta feed.. oops). So here’s how to style this crop top in 4 different ways!
