Trying out a different no-heat curls technique ♡ sock curls!

Posted on

Hey cutie! How are you? ♡ So tonight I wanted to try out a new heatless curls technique because I’m really hoping to put some makeup on tomorrow for the himekaji girls challenge! I usually just do lots of small buns (which you can watch in my YouTube tutorial) but I really wanted to try the sock curls method as it looks so much easier to sleep in!

Quick outfit collages ♡

Hey cutie! How are you? ♡ I’m still a bit stuck at the moment… It’s been so long since I’ve seen my loved ones and to be honest I’m starting to get tired of only putting on makeup etc for the sake of a blog post or YouTube video… (。•́︿•̀。)

So I decided to create collages of co*de ideas so that at least I’d have lots of cute outfits planned for when I’m feeling more positive! This would also help me get a better idea of what’s in my wardrobe and also to show that I can’t say “oh I have nothing to wear” ( ̄▽ ̄*)ゞ

Hello Kitty Co*de, Trying New Hair Rollers + Self Care ☆

Hey cutie! How are you? This is going to be a very short and sweet post as I want to share my Hello Kitty inspired co*de (´。• ᵕ •。`) ♡ My friend Kristin gave me a huge box of Hello Kitty merch, including this beautiful Hello Kitty bag which is the main highlight of this outfit! It was the perfect outfit for walking to the post office, as the weather is still pretty chilly over here despite the sun.

I guess this co*de isn’t really “100% gyaru” but I don’t care – I absolutely love it and I felt so happy wearing it! It’s actually my first outfit that I wore for my Hello Kitty boom hahaha. I love how casual and cute it is! Maybe I should write a post about my Hello Kitty boom but to be honest.. I think it’s quite obvious that I love Hello Kitty (⁄ ⁄>⁄ ▽ ⁄<⁄ ⁄)

Sheet Masks + A New Self Care Routine!

Posted on

Hey cutie! How are you? A couple of posts ago I mentioned that I haven’t been doing very well because I find myself constantly exhausted. This made me feel really down because I didn’t have the energy to do the things that I enjoy on the weekends (making YouTube videos, dressing up, etc etc). Lately, however, I’ve been trying to pick myself up again by remembering to take breaks at work, and wearing sheet masks in the evenings/weekends again! The sheet masks I want to talk about in this post were kindly given to me by MaskTime – who I absolutely ADORE – and I’ll also write some quick bullet points about each mask with pros and cons!

Himekaji Wardrobe Update, LL Scans + Recent GETS!

Hey cutie! How are you? I’m super happy because my big box of Liz Lisa and other himekaji items from my dear Emi arrived a few weeks ago and I FINALLY gotten around to posting about it (sorry it took me so long haha („ಡωಡ„)). Honestly I screamed with happiness and just couldn’t wait to open it. I’ve filmed a little YouTube video of everything that she gave me and I’m just so incredibly grateful. Now I have a lot of items for my himekaji wardrobe for Spring! The next thing I want to do is figure out the exact collection that my items came from!

Himekaji Girls! Strawberry Chocolate Virtual Tea Party

Hey cutie! How are you? I’m currently sipping some delicious hot chocolate (with a whole load of whipped cream), having just been to a virtual tea party with some himekaji girls! It was so nice finally “meeting” everyone. This meet’s theme was Strawberry Chocolate and I’ll be honest… I was kind of worried because I didn’t really have any items with strawberry print, so instead I just wore my red turtleneck jumper and a brown skirt.

I’ve fallen in love with wearing layered necklaces again (which is heavily inspired by Okarie) and this one is my favourite! I bought it for super cheap from Aliexpress. I wasn’t originally going to wear a beret but then I saw Amber wear one and thought she looked absolutely adorable so I wore one, too!

Monotone Himekaji Co*de + Making Rilakkuma Chocolate!

Hey cutie! How are you? I had written this blog post this morning but then I forgot to save it so here I am writing this again ( ̄▽ ̄*)ゞ Today I want to share with you my recent monotone himekaji co*de! I really enjoyed putting this look together and it’s a shame that you don’t really see monotone or dark colours in himekaji… But oh well, I guess I’ll just have to wait until more people do it haha…

Snowy Days, Recent Co*de + A New Project?!

Hey cutie! How are you? Weekends have been pretty crazy lately (despite lockdown) as we’re still trying to work on our kitchen. We were supposed to get more stuff done to it the other weekend but then it started snowing really heavily so we weren’t able to go out to get everything we needed. But this worked out quite well as it meant I could have some fun out in the snow (and allowed me to also wear a super cute outfit tehehe).

We never really get snow like this in our part of the UK and oh my gosh, the snow was so THICK! I absolutely loved the soft crunching noise it made when we walked on the snow. Our cat, on the other hand, wasn’t too much of a fan. I wore my favourite Tralala hoodie and leg warmers!

Life lately…

Pink Bow Header

Hey cutie! How are you? Just a really quick blog post today to give you an update on what’s been happening recently… To be honest, I’ve not been doing very well 。゚・ (>﹏<) ・゚。 Self-care doesn’t really exist for me anymore and I just feel so awful. I haven’t worn a sheet mask in ages, I’ve been eating so many snacks, and evenings after work seem to fly by and I never really have time to do anything.

My Himekaji Wardrobe for Winter!

Hey cutie! How are you? Sorry for the late night post haha but I was just waaaay too excited to post this and wanted to post it now! Okay so a few months ago I have finally found my substyle (not that it’s taken me 10 years or anything…) and have since then started to build my himekaji wardrobe, first focusing on winter items. It’s taken a while and I know that I’ve still got a long way to go, but I wanted to create this post anyway to track my progress! I’ll also include some of my favourite outfits with these said items.

Are you ready? Okay, let’s go!

Active Gyaru ギャル Bloggers!

Hey cutie! How are you? So today I decided to create a little blog post about other gyaru bloggers outside of Japan, because there’s been a huge gyaru blog boom over the past few months (and honestly I’m just so so happy). ꒰* ॢꈍ◡ꈍ ॢ꒱.*˚‧♡ I will be frequently updating this list if new blogs crop up, and will put a link to this either in my navigation bar or sidebar. Okay, let’s go!

Let’s Eat Sukiyaki! ☆

hello

Hey cutie! How’re you? So a few weekends ago (well, more like a month ago… Oops) my hubby and I joined Sozai Cooking School where we cooked Sukiyaki together! I cooked Katsu Curry with them last time and I had SO much fun so I was really looking forward to this. I’m glad that my hubby joined me though because there was no way that I was able to cook it all by myself.
