Hey cutie! How are you? (´• ω •`) ♡ I’ve just woken up from a lovely nap but now I just want to go back to sleep again (//▽//) aaaaanyway, today I went out for a stroll in Stratford-upon-Avon with my lovelies Amy and Lauren
Hey cutie! How are you? We didn’t get back home until late last night so I didn’t have time to write this post, but yesterday I was invited to Heavenly Desserts’ launch party in Leamington! I was really happy to have been invited because I LOVE their desserts
Time for the launch night!
Disclaimer: I was invited to try out their desserts for free but wasn’t obliged to create this post, but I wanted to anyway
Hey cutie! How are you? ( ´ ∀ `)ノ～ ♡ I think I’ve found the perfect solution to my earlier problems… Mixing ryousangata clothes but with gyaru makeup! (*♡∀♡)
I experimented with jirai kei/ryousangata makeup in the past but gosh I felt so much better today doing my usual gal make but with girly, ryousangata clothes ♡
Hey cutie! How are you? (´ ε ` )♡ It was Amy’s birthday party yesterday and the theme for it was vampires and witches and I thought… What better time to practice jirai kei makeup!
But instead of going for pink shades, I went with red instead. I also filmed this grwm for my YouTube channel which I’ll post later on (when i have energy to edit) ♡
The best selfies were taken in the car haha (*ﾉ∀`*)
Hey cutie, how are you? Today I wanted to write about what brands like Ank Rouge, Liz Lisa, Dear My Love and MA*RS now look like in 2023! To give a bit of a background – these brands used to be gyaru brands, but over the years have shifted their focus to girly fashion and they’ve now landed upon ryousangata and jirai kei. My interest in ryousangata/jirai has made me fall in love with these brands again (because to be honest, I was really bitter about their shift in focus as a hardcore gyaru ) so I want to choose some of my favourite items from each store!
Okie, let’s go!
Hey cutie! How are you? I went to get my nails done and wanted to do a ryousangata co*de. But… Idk… I’m really not feeling it however you don’t learn until you try!
Hey cutie! How are you? Yep, I have a new obsession… Ryousangata! This time I want to create a capsule wardrobe before I fully invest in the style. And, to be honest, ryousangata is perfect for it as it translates to “mass production style” where they celebrate the fact that everyone looks the same. I will do a separate inspo post on it!
Hey cutie, how are you? ( ´ ∀ `)ノ～ ♡ Today I did jirai kei makeup as a little “trial” before Amy’s birthday party. It feels so weird to wear this much makeup without any lashes which I hated at first but tbh… It’s really growing on me (♡°▽°♡) I feel really cute!
It’s my bby Amy’s birthday party coming up so I want to take this chance to do Jirai Kei properly, which is why I decided to do an inspiration post which I can use as reference for when I do the makeup/hair/overall look. To be honest, I’m really excited… Don’t get me wrong; I love gyaru with my heart and soul but I also want to try something different every now and then.
What is Jirai Kei?
This Jfashion wiki explains it in a lot more detail but Jirai roughly translates to “landmine-type” which derives from “jirai onna”, a derogatory term to describe girls that look as if they have an emotional breakdown at any moment. It’s really not a nice phrase, but these girls took it and turned it onto its head and it evolved into the jfashion that we know of today (a darker girly style).
