Caw, Caw, Ravenclaw

Ravenclaw, harry potter, gyaru, gaijin gyaru

I don’t care what anyone else says, they can make as many Harry Potter related films as they want and I’ll be happy. Who cares if it’s a money-making-machine? J.K Rowling is as magical as her books, I adore the world of witches and wizards, so any excuse to be absorbed into it is good for me. Reading Harry Potter is just perfect for winter – I can snuggle up in bed with a cup of hot chocolate and I’m satisfied. It’s a bonus if I can do that in front of a toasty fire, but seeing as I don’t have one… hot chocolate will do.

I’m actually so happy that it’s finally time to watch Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them – I remember reading the book and hogging it from the school library for as long as I could before I had to return it (against my will). I was soon counting down the days that it’s out in cinema, and it’s finally here! I even planned an outfit specifically for this occasion, and it also gave me the chance to try on my new lashes from Pinky Paradise*. Unfortunately it was raining on that day, but luckily I managed to snap a few pictures before it got too heavy.

Pinky Paradise are widely known for selling circle lenses online but they also have some other beauty goods such as false lashes and makeup, and that’s what they gave me to review! I instantly snapped up these Limited Edition Forever Eyelash (Chic Eyes) by Diamond Lash (who doesn’t love Diamond Lash?) and it took a couple of weeks to arrive. I was quite surprised because they’re so delicate to the other lashes that I have from them, and it’s all down to their “invisible” lash band. It’s definitely something I’d wear for softer gyaru looks! (Plus then it’ll be less likely for Professor McGonagall to catch you wearing them…..)

It was nice to wear a hoodie and jeans for a change, but my gyaru side kicked in and I had to jazz it up a little with these cute bonbon hairbands and fluffy earrings. I can’t wait for when I next go to the Harry Potter studios so that I could wear my hoodie with a blue/black seifuku – then I’d be a real Hogwarts student! I made my other half take the Pottermore quiz and he ended up in Slytherin! I always thought he’d be a Hufflepuff, but it seems like he has a dark side…

Are you a Potterhead too? What’s your Hogwarts house and your patronus? I’m Head Girl of Ravenclaw and I have a Greyhound patronus! ;D And have you tried these lashes before? I’d love to see what makeup you wore with it!

Until next Sunday! ♡

P.S thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my previous post! I’m so glad that I’m not the only one who felt a bit put-out by the gyaru community’s standards, but it’s nice that the “strict rules” have died down now!

I’m in Slytherin and my patronus is a brown bear.
I’m also in Wampus. What’s your Illverymony house?
