Hey cutie! How are you? Sorry I haven’t really been that active lately… I went through a serious burnout after Christmas so I’ve been doing my best to relax as possible! I’ve also been trying to make our kitchen super cute (you can read my inspiration post here) and it’s going to require a lot of work. I really hope I can show you some pictures at the end of the month!
Anyway, me and my hubby have been making bubble waffles as one of the things I received for Christmas was a bubble waffle maker! We tried to do it with marshmallows but… Well… The marshmallows melted way too quickly haha. Next time I want to try it with whipped cream and mochi, or maybe chocolate or something.
And the other day I joined the first virtual gal meet of 2021 and it was such a good way to start the year. I did have a very tiring day beforehand and I was so close to not attending but I pushed myself to just do my makeup and hair during the actual call and I’m so glad that I did! It was so nice to see everyone in one place and I had so much fun trying out all of the filters and pulling faces at Georgie 😂 I stayed online for maybe… 3 hours? Before I got too tired and headed off.
I was originally going to just stay in my pj’s and not bother getting dresses up but I’m glad I changed my mind in the end! I just went for something casual and put my hair up into a bun with a braid in front of it.

Here are some shots from our call 💖I had so much fun!
I tried out a new eye make technique, this time heavily inspired by my no.1 gal, Chie Yoshikawa 💕 This was the first time I tried a new lash combo in like 7 years lol. I was a bit worried that the lower lashes would be too long for me (especially because I don’t wear circle lenses) but it went surprisingly well! So I think I’m going to use this technique a lot more in future. For this I used Twinkle Lash for the uppers and Diamond Lash Sweet Eye for the lowers.
And that’s all for today 💕 I can’t wait for the next gal meet!
