Growin’ and Glowin’

Btw this post includes affiliate links – read my disclaimer for more info.

You know you’re a blogger during lockdown when you’re blogging about things that happened in February. Yep, these outfit photos were taken at the Grow & Glow Event – where I met my blogger pal Tanya for the very first time, and also my idol Vix Meldrew! The event was MIND-BLOWING, but in the run up to it I was super nervous. So I whacked on my favourite outfit – this super cute pastel hoodie and my trusty zebra print skirt – put on my brave face, and marched right in.

Offbrand gyaru outfit with clothes from boohoo

Y’all, the venue was a blogger’s dream. Huckletree was filled with tropical wallpaper, pastel colours, neon lights, pink kitchens… The lot. It was the perfect place to take pics for the ‘gram and I was dying with happiness. I soon forgot about how nervous I was and we listened to a lot of inspirational speakers on how they navigated the blogging world. I was filled with so much hope and ideas for this blog! What also helped was the incredibly supportive ladies that I shared an apartment with – people who I hadn’t heard of before I met – hyping me up. They made the whole event special, and I’m incredibly glad to have met them.

But enough of that gushing… I have to be honest with you, I never really thought that a) I’d still be blogging after nearly 10 years and b) that one day people could earn money from blogging. I know that it’s kinda’ “taboo” to be talking about money and blogging but I really want it to happen one day to go towards this blog! I’ve started opening up ad spaces for bloggers on this blog and have also started to look at affiliate marketing… So all of the links below that I’ve shared are my first affiliate links on my blog. Don’t worry, though – this doesn’t affect you in any way, it just means I get a tiny percentage of the sale if you do want to buy stuff! They are small steps towards my dream goal and I’ve written down notes on what I want to do in future, keeping in mind that I still blog about the things I love, and I’m so excited!

This does mean that things will start changing on this blog but don’t worry – this will still be a gyaru blog. I’ll still be offering advice and guide you on your gyaru journey, but there will be a lot more “casual” posts like outfit posts like this one, mini reviews and wishlists. Basically things that I used to love blogging about!

So watch this space – your gal has big plans for the future!

Best of luck with the monetising side of things, I hope it works out for you. Your outfit is so cute, I love it. I also love the brightness and vibrancy of the images here – fantastic backgrounds. This was such an uplifting post to read – thanks!

Wunderschön bist du in diesem Outfit.Ich liebe sehr was du machst.das ist einfach toll.
Blos gut das du hier wahrscheinlich ein dunkles Höschen trägst.Sonst könnte man dir,

verstecken.Deswegen mein Kommentar zu deinem Bild.
Also mach weiter so und bleib schön gesund.
        Viele liebe Grüsse Andrea
