IT’S (nearly) CHRISTMAAAAAAS! I never used to be a huge fan of the festive season as I always deemed it overrated (and over-hyped) but you know what? Now I’m all for it. The lights, the cheesy films, the comfy pjs… And not to mention the endless amount of food, of course! I asked over on my instagram what kind of holiday content you wanted me to write and one of them was a gift guide, so I’ve created a Christmas gift guide for both the darker and the sweeter styles of gyaru.
For dark gyaru styles (rokku, tsuyome, etc)

Ever since writing my post on how to do gyaru in winter I’ve been thinking a lot about winter accessories, so I had to add this animal print hat into the mix! This one is from New Look and I loooove it.
I couldn’t go creating a Christmas gift guide without including false nails! I’ve been looking at Aya1gou’s instagram for awhile and they’ve got a wide selection of false nails that have – wait for it – shorter options, which is perfect for the everyday gyaru! I personally love these zebra print ones which is perfect for rokku and tsuyome styles.
I’m so happy that western stores are upping their belt game, and this L’Amore one from ASOS is beautiful. It’s something that I can see a gyaru brand selling and the perfect accessory to complete an outfit!
Skinny Dip, an independent UK store, has many purses but this ombre snake purse is lush!
A few months ago Dreamy Bows announced that they were going to stock more false lashes, and I was over-the-moon! These ones are amazing (tehe) and I bought myself a box at Hyper Japan. Perfect for gyaru!
I gifted my QueenE gals a hibiscus ring for Galentine’s Day from Oddbeans, and I have to include these earrings that they’ve created! I mean, hibiscus AND leopard print?! Yes please!
Too Faced’s ‘Better than Sex’ eyeliner is one of the best liquid eyeliners I’ve ever owned, and I’d highly recommend it! You can get it either from your local Debenhams (if they stock Too Faced) or from ASOS.
For the sweet gyaru styles (himekaji and hime gyaru)

YumeYuu on storenvy is a small business based in Sweden and they create the most beautiful accessories. I absolutely adore this pearl ribbon bracelet that they have.
I have a Huawei and there aren’t many cute phone cases available, so Sorayraya is a godsend! I bought a couple of phone cases from her when I went to Hyper Japan and this “don’t touch me” one in pink is actually one of the ones I bought, and is also the perfect gift.
Who says that socks were a boring present, when ones like these from Artbox are so adorable? They have a wide range of cute character socks in store, but my favourites are these My Melody ones.
Yeeep I’m going to cheat slightly and add the lashes from the other gift guide onto here, because they are incredibly versatile and would work for the sweeter styles of gyaru, too!
I mentioned Aya1gou in the above gift guide, but she also does a lot of nails that could work with the sweeter gyaru styles such as these Rilakkuma ones. They are super cute!
I loooooove Too Faced’s melted lippy series, and this one in peony would work so well with sweeter styles!
And there we have it – the Christmas gift guide for gyaru! What’s on your list this year?
Love,
Lizzie xx
