Yep, this week I’m going to be talking about gyaru nails (well, gyaru nail art). I realised that I buy way too many clothes and don’t really think about the small things that really make the outfit pop, and one of them is (or is it ‘are’?) the nails! I only have a few sets and I really want to start making some for myself. So I had a browse on Tumblr/Pinterest and gathered a few of my favourites.
I know it’s going to take me a while to actually get good at doing nails but I might as well look for inspiration! I’m going to split it into two sections – Dramatic & Short – because I can’t really wear false nails at work. I’ve also included some neat tutorials too at the bottom!
Please note: I don’t own any of the following images. Read my full disclaimer here.

Short Nail Inspiration
Most of the nails in my gyaru nails collection are quite long which sucks for people like me who can’t wear long nails to save their life. This is also good for those who can’t have long and dramatic nails for school/work/university etc.

Video Tutorials
I was going to leave it like that but then I thought that it might be handy to include some video tutorials from YouTube as well! Not all of these are necessarily gyaru, but can be used for it. I tried to find a range of tutorials so that they cover both long and short nails, depending on your situation.
Hope this was inspirational to you who are interested in gyaru nail art! If you have any useful links or tips, please leave a comment below ♡
