Depending on your job, gyaru doesn’t have to end when your work life begins. There are plenty of ways to incorporate it into your everyday if you can’t wear it at work, but this blog post is going to give you some gyaru work inspiration if you are able to wear it. It’ll be split into three categories: outfits, hair, and makeup!
Outfits
I always refer back to onee styles for wearing gyaru at work, as they’re usually at the perfect age range to be doing gyaru at work. Their styles are more elegant and toned down, so they’re the perfect inspiration for us!

Hair & Makeup
Now, the hair hair and makeup. I wrote two posts a lil’ while back about simple makeup and hairstyles (here and here) and this also applies to when you go to work. So if you want to look at tutorials, then head on over, but here are a few of my favourites and easiest styles!
A few tips…
- Do overnight waves if you don’t have time to style your hair in the mornings. You can do this by tying your hair into a tight bun overnight and voila! You’ll wake up to beautiful waves
- Having straight hair or doing plaits are other quick and easy ways to style your hair
- Ditch the lower lashes if necessary
- At the end of the day, your job is more important than dressing gyaru so stick to your dresscode if you have to, and preserve gyaru for weekends
That’s all for now, cuties! If there’s anything else you’d like me to cover in this blog post on gyaru work inspiration, please let me know as I love to help out.
Which was your favourite hair/makeup/outfit for work?
Love,
Lizzie xx
