Hey cutie! How are you? ♡ I’ve been meaning to write this post for aaaaages so today I want to talk about my new boom – Hello Kitty! I used to love Hello Kitty as a teen and it was only when I start doing my kitchen did my love for her get reignited. I also discovered some old Hello Kitty bags that I *thankfully* didn’t throw away (which I featured in one of my recent YouTube videos) and it made me so happy! And then it got me thinking… Could I mix Hello Kitty with Gyaru???
The simple answer was – yes! There was a Hello Kitty boom in the gyaru world back in 2007, 2009 and 2010, where Hello Kitty did collaborations with Popteen and some jfashion brands! And guess what? I was able to get my hands on the Tsu-chan Hello Kitty plushie from 2008 ♡＼(￣▽￣)／♡ This started me on the path to slowly collecting more Hello Kitty plushies, as well as My Melo (because I also love love love My Melo-chan!). I would love to collect some more Hello Kitty apparel as well, and will do a YouTube video soon of my gets.
