♡ Introducing the Hello Lizzie Cafe ♡

Hey cutie! How are you? ♡ Sorry I haven’t written a post in so long… I’m still trying to find balance in my life and to get back on my feet but I wanted to write a post today about my Hello Lizzie Cafe series on YouTube! I wrote a little bit about it before, but I wanted to talk about it in more detail because honestly… I just love this series so much ♡

♡ Why I started this series ♡

The reason I want to create this series is because I really miss going to the cute little cafes and restaurants. Japan always had the most amazing themed places and ever since my holiday to Japan in 2017, I’ve been searching for similar places in the UK. Unfortunately, most of the prettiest cafes are in London which is just too far away for me but I managed to visit a few which I wrote about in my ‘Cute Cafe Dates‘ series. I really enjoyed writing those posts!

So I wanted to create a cute “cafe” myself! We’ve been slowly transforming our kitchen so that it will look as cute as I imagined, and this inspired me to start baking and trying out cute recipes. Originally, the series was going to be about teaching you how I bake things but there was a very, very big problem…

Well…

I didn’t know how to bake.

(„ಡωಡ„)

At home, it’s usually my sister who baked the cakes and I just ate them so I realised very early on in the series that this wasn’t going to happen. After talking to Emi I decided to go ahead with it anyway and it became more of a “let’s see what Lizzie attempts to bake today!” (or, the more censored version, “what is Lizzie going to f*ck up in the kitchen this time?”). And I’m having so much fun with it!

♡ My videos so far! ♡

So far I’ve done about 4 videos and I really can’t wait to do more! I’m starting off by trying out really simple recipes before I move onto the more challenging ones. At the moment I’ve just done cakes and baking stuff but I’d love to move on to actually trying to cook yummy Japanese food!

♡ Special shout out ♡

I want to give a big shoutout to Darla, Emi and Georgie for helping me out with this series and for giving me the push to start it! I’m honestly so happy to have such supportive friends (´,,•ω•,,)♡

If there’s anything you want to see me try, let me know ♡
