Inspirational Gyaru ♡ Okarie aka Rie Matsuoka

Hey cutie ♡ 你好小可爱! How are you? I cannot believe that after all this time of talking about Okarie… I never actually created a post about her! So this inspiration post is dedicated to her and I’m going to try my best to write all that I know about her so that you can get to know her, too!

Okarie (aka Rie Matsuoka) first appeared in Popteen when she was around 19 years old, which is quite “old” compared to other models. She then became director of the super cute brand “Ank Rouge” when she was 20 years old – I know right??? 20!!! Insane!

I just love love love the way she layers everything and how there’s just so much attention to detail in her outfits.

Her makeup is super cute, too! And she pulls off short hair really well. I remember cutting my hair super short when I first started gal (back in 2010) as I wanted to look like her lol.

She graduated from Popteen in 2013, and they filmed a little behind-the-scenes video of the cover photo! She also recorded a message to her fans and omg she’s so cute.

Here are some more videos with Okarie in them.

And that’s all for my biggest inspiration – Okarie!

I’ll be doing more posts on my other inspirations soon. Who’s your gyaru inspo?

She’s so dang cute. She also makes me realize I got into gal too late XD

But either way, my babes will forever be Kanako and Kaa-tan ♥
