Did you know it’s been 6 years since Kawaii Box first launched? They’ve been shipping monthly boxes ever since, full to the brim with kawaii goodies straight from Japan and so this month’s box is all about having a kawaii birthday party at home. I’ve been really looking forward to this one as they have an exclusive Kawaii Box handbag included, which has a super cute pattern on it, so here’s my review! (And there’s also a giveaway for you at the bottom of the post…)
Kawaii Birthday Home Party Review
Neon Candy Highlighter
I had absolutely no idea what this was when I first looked at it. The thing that immediately came to mind was “is it edible?” but it was waaay too hard for that. I then realised that this is in fact a little highlighter! How cute! Perfect to add to your kawaii stationery collection.
Kawaii Dreams Handbag
I ADORE THIS BAG! It’s got an incredibly cute pattern and is an exclusive item to Kawaii Box! The material is quite thick and it seems waterproof, and though it might be too small for a handbag for me, it’ll be great as a makeup/travel wash bag.
Amuse Character Egg Shaped Hair Brush
Aaaah how cute is this brush?! Mine features a cute lil’ bunny with the caption, “Owners of lovely round cheeks! All he wants to do is to eat all day on the farms field” which is incredibly relatable (the ‘eat all day part’, obvs). Again, perfect to pop into your travel bag!
Butterfly Blossom Pen
Bippity-boppity-boo! I felt like the fairy godmother when I was waving this around, and to be honest it’s quite on-trend as I’ve seen a lot of butterfly motifs in fashion lately.
Little Fairy Tale 2-in-1 Sharpener and Eraser
I love how pink and sparkly this is and there’s an adorable heart-shaped eraser inside. I love the little character on the front of it!
Sakura Washi Tape Set
The perfect tape for when you’re sending letters off to loved ones during lockdown! They have lots of different styles and while they may be a bit too thin to secure packaging, they would look super cute on your letters or when customising birthday cards.
Chocoball Brisk White Soda
All of the sweets were stuck together so I had to rip open the box in order to get them but it was so worth it – these sweets were delicious! They’re like white chocolate balls with soda inside of them.
Sweet Bow Hair Tie Set
Aaah this hair tie set is so adorable, and perfect for those who love Decora and maybe even Fairy Kei! There’s 3 hair ties in each set, in an array of pastel colours.
