Hey cutie! How are you? A couple of posts ago I mentioned that I haven’t been doing very well because I find myself constantly exhausted. This made me feel really down because I didn’t have the energy to do the things that I enjoy on the weekends (making YouTube videos, dressing up, etc etc). Lately, however, I’ve been trying to pick myself up again by remembering to take breaks at work, and wearing sheet masks in the evenings/weekends again! The sheet masks I want to talk about in this post were kindly given to me by MaskTime – who I absolutely ADORE – and I’ll also write some quick bullet points about each mask with pros and cons!
HOLIKA HOLIKA
Pure Essence Sheet Mask
Shea Butter

♡ Lots of moisture
♡ Felt quite cool
♡ Smells really nice
The Real Purity Facial Mask
Calamine

♡ Smells amazing – reminded me of my uncle’s house in China
Oerbeua Radiant Mask
Shiny Vitality
It’s Crystal Clear

✖ Kinda’ dry – not a lot of moisture left afterwards
New Self Care Routine
I’ve now created a new routine that I hope to carry out even after lockdown is over, and this is what it’s going to look like…
Every couple of weekends I will not do anything (no plans to see friends or ANYTHING) but instead I’ll pamper myself and also clean the house. Having a nice and tidy home and refreshed skin just makes me feel so much better! I also want to relax more during the week as lately I’ve been working through my lunch break as well as doing overtime…
Another key thing is that I’m going to try not to absolutely everything in one day, nor will I give myself a “deadline”. In the past I used to film at least two YouTube videos and take photos but tbh… It was bloody tiring! So I’ll just go with the flow and see what my energy levels are like so that I don’t get burn out.
Hopefully it’ll work and I’ll get better and be more relaxed!
What’s your self care routine like?

March 2, 2021Mine is similiar. I am not a person who is going out much, so I don’t force myself. Even when people invite me, if I don’t want to, I don’t…I also don’t feel bad about it. Why should I? But I also try to keep a routine…at least 1 time in a week do this, at least once this..etc. I am a relaxed person in general…it happens how it happens. My biggest part of selfcare rly was social media…I am so glad I quit. So,so much….the last times I regretted it cuz I couldn’t keep contact with u, that’s why I always came back but now I got facebook and blogs for that…I wanted to make a post about that, maybe I rly will…

March 4, 2021Yeah I think it’s something that I really need to be a bit more “firm” with because I always feel guilty for saying no, but then I just get so exhausted and would have to cancel plans anyway…
I would love to read your post on self-care! I’m tempted to have no-social-media days as well, and maybe just focus on reading blogs as it’s definitely my favourite way to catch up with people!
