Every Wednesday (for the past year or so) I’ve dedicated to spending a couple of hours in the evening chilling out with a sheet mask. The routine isn’t simply just to improve my skin but also my mental health, and it gives me something to look forward to during the work week! Over the past month or so I’ve been going through Mask Time’s “Glow Setter” subscription box, and here’s my review of all of the sheet masks I tried (and why it’s perfect for Korean beauty and skincare lovers!).
A Little Bit About Mask Time + Their Subscription Boxes
Mask Time is a small business based in the UK that specialise in Korean sheet masks, but have since expanded into other Korean beauty and skincare items such as moisturisers, serums and cleansers. They offer two monthly subscription boxes: “Glow Setter” (the one I’m reviewing) which includes £40 worth of sheet masks for just £18.95, and “Glow Starter” which includes £20 worth of sheet masks for just a little over £9. Great for people like me who wear face masks at least once a week!
The Masks I Tried
Missha Mascure Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask
I loved this sheet mask so much that I wrote a separate blog post about it (linked below), and I highly recommend it to those who suffer from really dry skin/eczema. The mask is very wet but not so much so that it’s dripping everywhere, and my skin looked amazing when I woke up the next morning.

JM Solution Active Golden Caviar Nourishing Mask Prime
Caviar extract and mugwort are both great for hydrating dry skin, but it turns out that I was not a fan of this one at all. The sheet mask was a bit too slimy for me and I could feel it dripping down my neck. But it did leave my skin feeling smooth afterwards so I’ll give it a couple of points for that!
TONYMOLY Lovely Peach Hand Mask
This smelt absolutely divine. You could immediately smell the peaches as you open up the packaging and the smell does stick around for a very long time! I have quite bad eczema on my hands so I was really intrigued by this product, and I was relieved to see that it was phone friendly. However, because of how big the actual hand mask is, I found it really difficult to type so I just scrolled on TikTok instead. There was a little bit of moisture after taking off the mask and the texture reminded me of when you’re putting sun oil on… It wasn’t particularly pleasant, and after half an hour my dry patches started to return. So all in all, it didn’t really do anything to improve my eczema.
Abib Mild Acidic pH Sheet Mask (Heartleaf Fit)
It was quite tricky to read the instructions on this one (as it was white text printed onto clear packaging) so I kind of had to wing it when it comes to putting it on, and wore it for around 20 minutes. The sheet mask itself was a bit thicker than normal which contained all of the moisture really well (as the packaging itself is filled with 30ml of liquid). There isn’t really much to say about this one to be honest but it was a nice mask to wear all the same.

Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Mask – Pomegranate
The material of this sheet mask was very soft, so it took awhile for me to gently pull it apart to put it on but it felt really refreshing wearing it. It fitted perfectly on my face and there was plenty of excess moisture in the pack that I just rubbed onto my neck and shoulders. My skin did feel a little bit tight afterwards, but it wasn’t uncomfortable.
Innisfree Jeju Root Energy Mask – Beet
I was really looking forward to this one because I’ve heard a lot of good things about Innisfree as a brand, and especially because this sheet mask has hyaluronic acid in it which is great for those with dry skin/eczema. Not to mention that it’s also vegan friendly! Anyway, I could smell the beet when I took it out of the packaging and the mask fitted really well to my face. There was a very small tingly sensation after a few minutes but not enough for me to find it irritating. My skin was pretty wet afterwards (not as wet as the aviar and Missha mask though) and my eczema patches the next day were pretty minimal. Not bad for a vegan friendly product!
Capture Miracle Ampoule Mask by Nature Republic – Hibiscus
The gyaru in me squealed when I saw the word “hibiscus”, and I decided to try it out on the hottest day of the year in the UK (where it reached 30 degrees celsius!). Boy it was the best decision I ever made; I felt so cool and refreshed afterwards! The mask fitted extremely well to my face and wasn’t as wet as the previous ones in this pack, meaning that I was able to sit on the sofa on my laptop while I had it on. My eczema patches the next day were also minimal, however I noticed that they were a bit red, so I’ve knocked a couple of points off for that.
So is This the Best Sheet Mask Subscription Box?
Overall, MaskTime “Glow Setter” is brilliant value for money and you get so much in a pack… Which is why I believe that it is the best sheet mask subscription box for K-beauty (Korean beauty) and skincare lovers! I absolutely love their boxes because I would never have thought to try all of these different types – like I wouldn’t have thought to try on a hand mask before! – and it was quite fun. There were a couple of masks that didn’t work out for me like the Caviar one, but then the Missha mask worked wonders for my extremely dry skin!
What does your skincare routine look like? Do you wear sheet masks?

This sounds like a great sheet mask box! I haven’t really tried any k-beauty products, but I love sheet masks so this seems like a great deal! Thank you for sharing your honest review, they all sound quite nice. It is a shame the peach mask didn’t do as well as you’d hoped, at least it smelt nice!

It seems like a great subscription box to try out! I use a sheet mask at least once a week as well, and I love the way it’s made my skin look/feel! x

I tried my very first sheet mask this year and I lovedddd it so I’d be really keen to try more. Especially K Beauty masks because I’ve heard such great things. I’d love to try a hand mask too. And one of those foot masks that peels the skin off your feet hahaha gross but oddly satisfying!
