Hey cutie, and 中秋节快乐! Today is the mid-autumn festival so we went to my mum’s house to celebrate.
She cooked: 粉丝 (sorry idk the English translation but I guess they’re like rice noodles?) , satay beef, and beansprouts with spinach and 油面筋 (again… Idk the English translation… But kinda like tofu??)
And, as a surprise, she made moon cakes! It was her first time making them and they were delicious. These were different to the sweet ones you can get – they were savoury ones with minced filling.

oooo I think I know what those are! I’ve seen those noodles called grass/glass noodles. They’re so good! And I don’t know why but the other thing I’ve always seen just called fried gluten XD Don’t know how that translates but I love it either way XD (a lot of my friends growing up were Chinese so I got to eat a good amount of both!♥)
