Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Hey all!

How was your Christmas holidays? Did you eat lots of food? I did! I swear I’ve never eaten so much food in my life, and that’s pretty hard to beat as I tend to eat a lot everyday… But wow I’m still stuffed from my delicious Christmas dinner that my mum cooked up (we have roast duck and pancakes for Christmas instead of turkey).

My Christmas holiday was quite a long one but it was just so good! I wanted to write a post including everything I did around Christmas, so please excuse the abundance of photos and writing~ But there’s no point splitting this up into lots of mini posts because it’ll be 2014 before we know it.

The first Christmas event was the day I went to see Charli! I missed her terribly, as I hadn’t seen her that much at the October MCM Expo so it was lovely to spend a couple of hours trotting around London with her.
We decided to take some purikura as it had been a really long time! I think that it is a tad expensive, but as we were splitting it in half it wasn’t so bad. Although their scanner broke so I’ve only got photos of the purikura half I had </3

The whole set~

Then we headed to our favourite restaurant, Suki! The food is so good for the price we pay, so I was really happy to be finally sitting down munching on gorgeous ramen. If anyone’s heading to London one day, you should definitely try this place out! It’s a Japanese restaurant and it’s amazing!

After that it got dark surprisingly quickly so instead of heading to Stratford Westfield we just had a look around Chinatown and the surrounding area, mainly because it was absolutely freezing and we didn’t feel like going shopping. London was incredibly busy, so we were pretty exhausted even just walking around for a bit as we had to continuously dodge around people who were obviously rushing for their last-minute Christmas presents.

At one of the shops there Charli got me a gorgeous alpaca as a Christmas present! I was absolutely delighted as I adore alpacas, and I’m going to name this one Honey after Charli Honey (her blog name) <3

I got her some Korean black pearl face masks for her Christmas present, and now I’m thinking that I really ought to pamper myself a little bit! I never have time to relax with all of the uni work and work stuff I had to do, but I’d love it if I just had one day a week to do something relaxing… What do you do to relax on your days off? Or are you like me and is a workaholic (hahaha).

That was it for our Christmas meetup! Even though we didn’t see each other until later – I had uni work to do and she had work – I still had lots of fun. I missed her so much!

Outfit & look for the Christmas meetup:

The bright light drowned my blusher ;_;

Denim shirt: Primark  |  Knitwear: Select  |  Shorts: Reveal  |  Tights: Select  |  Heeled boots: New Look

Okay, now onto event number two! I drove home for Christmas after work and was just so happy to be with the ones I loved. It had been ages since I saw everyone so I spent most of Christmas with my family and my boyfriend.

We didn’t do much on Christmas Eve as I was absolutely knackered from driving, but on Christmas day we dolled up and watched lots of movies! The one we watched in particular was Monsters University. I love that film!

Me & my gorgeous sister!

I was so ridiculously spoilt this year! I got a gorgeous new bag, jewellery, clothes, a personalised, calendar, some DVDs, chocolate… And lots more! I was going to take a photo of everything out of the bag but I really, really couldn’t be bothered. Eating lots of chocolate has made me lazy D:

My outfit & look for the day:

(wooow my sister’s mirror was so dusty…)
Dress, hoodie & jewellery: MA*RS | Belt: GOLDS Infinity
Tights: Select | Boots: Dorothy Perkins

I didn’t bother to do my hair that day because 1) I woke up pretty late and 2) I was bursting to open presents and really couldn’t be bothered. I literally jumped onto everyone’s bed to wake them up… I’m not a child, I swear.

Christmas event number 3: Boxing Day! Boxing Day is the British equivalent to Black Friday, and it’s where all the sales start. I literally rolled out of bed, and went out to town to hunt done some bargain items but I ended up only buying one thing that was actually in the sale. There was just nothing left for me to buy! I guess that means I have more money to spend later on…

Oh wow that’s a terrible photo! I’m so sorry!

My sister, mum and I then treated ourselves to some food at Pizza Hut and boy it was filling! I can never seem to eat more than a couple of slices of pizza before I feel full, and yet I could eat a mountain of Sunday Roast dinner. Hmm.

I’m not actually going to upload a picture of my outfit as it was really, really plain… The only pretty thing was the MA*RS skirt, and the sweater made me look all weird… Sorry guys!

Anyways, I guess that’s all for now! Sorry for the rambling and the never-ending list of photos… But I just wanted to do everything Christmas-related in one post so that I can move onto the new year. I’m just so excited! Are you?

One final photo~

Until next week!
