Hey cutie! How are you? 你好小可爱! I’m so happy that I finally have time to write a blog post (I’ve had a crazy busy week (；￣Д￣) ). Anyway, I was going through all of my super old blog posts of past UK gal meets and… I really, really miss taking purikura. I’m thankful to be able to create “fake” puri but it’s just not the same as trying to cram into a tiny photo booth with everyone o(〒﹏〒)o BUT this has also made me super inspired to create more fake puri, and to also write this post where I collect aaaaaall of my old purikura! And try to write as much as I can remember about each one ♡ Okay, let’s go!
Warning: there’s going to be a looooooot of pictures tehehe.
♡ 2011 ♡
This marked the very first time I took purikura and it was also the very first time I went to London! My boyfriend came with me as he was staying over that weekend and my eyes opened to the gyaru lifestyle. Unfortunately this is the only photo I have of it…
This was mine and my love’s very first time taking purikura together, and is by far one of my favourites. It was also our very first time going to London together (just us two). Gosh, we were so young back then!
Here’s another cute couple puri ♡
♡ 2012 ♡
I took a looooot of purikura with my friend Charli back in the day! So I decided to group all of the ones from 2012 together as I can’t remember the exact details behind each one tehe.
This was mine and my sister’s first trip to London together and I was so excited to show her how to take purikura! Gosh things have changed so much since then – now she’s the one to show me around London tehehe.
♡ 2013 ♡
As with 2012, I took a lot of purikura with my friend Charli so I’ve grouped them altogether!
This was the biggest UK gal meet that I can remember going to and it was also one that I hosted, and it was SO HOT that day!
♡ 2014 ♡
This marks a very special moment for me as it was the first time I properly hung out with Chewiee! She met me at the train station as I still wasn’t that great walking around London, and the rest is history ♡
The very first time I had a sleepover at Chewiee’s place in London! We both twinned and wore Agejo~
This was the first meet I ever went to where there were only four of us… But I actually preferred that because it meant I got to know everyone a bit better! I actually had a little bit of food poisoning afterwards hahaha.
A veeeeery short and sweet trip to London where I met Amber from the Netherlands for the very first time and OMG SHE’S SUCH A SWEETHEART!!!
Gosh I hadn’t taken purikura with Charli as much this year!
♡ 2015 ♡
We took soooo much purikura on this day! I’ve never met so many new people and I absolutely loved everyone’s outfits! But this was, sadly, the very last time we could take purikura in the UK as the photo booth shut down as the whole building was being redone o(〒﹏〒)o so heartbroken.
♡ 2017 ♡
I didn’t take any purikura until our trip to Japan in 2017, and even then I only took two sets – one with Akipoyo (this was actually my first time meeting them!) and my lovely Emmie. I had so much fun with them all ♡ but I really do regret not taking more purikura when we were over there….
And that’s it! Gosh, what a looong post. Thank you so much for reading it until the very end ♡ this post has brought back so many good memories! I’m so upset that we no longer can take purikura as there aren’t any photo booths in the UK anymore, but I’ve been creating more fake puri which I will share in another post.

OMG so many purikura 😍😍😍 I love them and I especially love the fact that there are so many memories behind them! Here we don’t have a purikura machine, we just had it once for a convention and it was expensive 🤣 I just took one set but I keep it with love💕💕

Ikr? I really wish we had a machine to take some more ;_; I think I might have to just use one of those passport photo booths and then just decorate with stickers tehe <333

AAAAHHH, take puris is one of the best things ever! *__* Some years ago we had a puri machine in Barcelona, and it was so fun! 💕 I can’t wait to go to Japan next summer and spend lots of money on thousands of purikuras XDD
