Hey cutie! How’re you? I’m almost trembling with excitement because me and my husband are planning to go to South Korea! We originally wanted to go back in 2020 but couldn’t for the obvious reasons *cough*.
So I wanted to create a list of things I’d like to see and do while over in Seoul which I can just tick off as I go along! I will link any blog posts/vlogs I’ve done at the bottom of this post.
Okie, let’s go!

Wear a hanbok to Gyeongbokgung Palace
This is one of the most popular palaces in Seoul, where you can witness the change of guards at particular times in the day. Oh, to wear a hanbok here!

Roam the streets of Bukchon Hanok Village
This is where we can see the traditional side to Seoul! I loooove wandering around historic streets like these.
Stock up on skincare in Myeongdong
This is one of the things I’m most excited about as I LOVE Korean skincare!
Go on all of the rides at Lotte World
I’m still sitting on the fence about lotte world, but then again, it is the biggest indoor amusement park in the world which will be a good experience!

Meet Hello Kitty at Jeju Island
I know that this is nowhere near Seoul but I’d love to go on a day trip to Jeju Island! Not only are the views meant to be beautiful, but there’s also a hello kitty Island museum there.
See the sights at N Seoul Tower
I bet the views of Seoul are incredibly from the tower! I’d love to see the skyline at nighttime.
Buy cute clothes from Gotomall
One of the best places to buy clothes on a budget is the Gotomall underground shopping centre! I had no idea this place existed until I saw a YouTube video about it. Guess I’ll have to bring an empty suitcase with me to Seoul!
Chomp on all of the food at Gwangjang Market
I would love to take my husband on a food crawl around some of the markets, Gwangjang Market in particular! He’s a big foodie and I would love to see how he reacts to soondae (blood sausage).
Go cafe hopping
Cafe culture is BIG in south Korea, so I’d love to tick off as many cafes as I can! These are but a few I’d love to visit: cafe onion, stylenanda pink pool cafe and zapangi.
Edit: just learnt that Zapangi is now permanently closed…

Aaand that’s all for now! No doubt I will be adding to the list closer to the time, but those are definitely my top things that I want to do in Seoul.
Have you been before?

October 10, 2022Lizzie! I’m so excited for you! Seoul is such a beautiful city with so much to do! The city literally never sleeps! There are so many 24-hour places you can go to even cafes! I recommend going to Hongdae for some shopping. I used to live in Sinchon which is right next to Hongdae and they have a lot of fun stores. You should definitely visit the store Chu as well! They have some very cute girly clothing and their store is very, hopefully, it’s still there!
Also, the convenience store has a lot of yummy food, if you want to save some money, though food in Korea is pretty cheap anyways. I lived off ramen, eggs, bread, and Mcdonald’s! haha
I would recommend looking at a couple of beauty stores before you make a purchase because some places have better deals than others and some deals change daily so don’t go too crazy too soon. Trust me! haha ♥

October 11, 2022*shaking with excitement right with you!* Because OMG! This is a dream vacation! I think Lotte World is worth it, I’m not big on roller coasters / rides but I’d like to see it one day. I can’t wait to live vicariously through you 。゚( ゚^∀^゚)゚。.
