Not a very interesting title, but oh well!
Now that I’m back at uni I don’t really have the time to doll up (I never did really because of work but… yeah) however I have been trying to dress up a little more! Been living in jeans and t-shirts way too much for the last couple of weeks because of the fact a) I was ridiculously tired and b) I didn’t want to “waste time” and do as much uni work as possible while I was awake.

Here’s a few of my coords that I wore last week! No makeup and hair skills obv, so ignore that part 😛

And now here are my gets! I went shopping the other day with J from uni, and spent – I kid you not – £40 in Primark! Crap, didn’t expect to buy that much… It’s because we don’t have a Primark where I’m at so I took full advantage of it’s cheap-ness :3
I have a huge thing for big knits at the moment, mainly due to the ridiculously cold weather! It’s actually worrying me how cold it is… Because I didn’t really have many winter-y clothes at all! So I was kind of glad I spotted the grey one from Primark and red from Select!

show my underwear to the whole world!

I got this gorgeous coat from one of my friends who I always buy brand items from, for £15! How amazing is that? Sorry for the blurriness of the photo… But yeah it’s so warm and nice to wear *_* At least I’m prepared if it snows or anything!

I also just recently – like today – bought this onesie! I had my eye on it for a time as I thought it definitely had an oraora look to it!

I’m Singing Along Like There’s No Tomorrow

Okay now that I haven’t met up with anyone I actually have nothing to write about.

Well, that’s a lie really, because I’m writing a blog post right now… But it’s only because I am taking a break from the endless uni work that has been given to me to complete in a measly four days. I’m quite excited about this project to be honest as I’ve been told to create a logo, letterhead, business card and compliment slip.

But enough about uni work because I’m just so tired of it right now!

What I want to blog about today is my look for today. Like I said before I had been doing tons of uni work and normal work so I’ve been lazy and wore no makeup for a week. Seems like an age to me! I’ve been listening to a lot of Maroon 5 hence my choice of title~ It’s from the song Ladykiller which is just so awesome.

Meeting up with Charli!

My eyes are actually burning as I write this, and it’s only 21:53 (well, now it’s 19:04, as I write up my blog and then publish it a couple of days later).

There’s just so much going on in my personal life that it’s affecting me both mentally and physically; for the past few days I’ve been a walking zombie, and I swear that whenever someone is talking to me I just faze out so that they have to repeat everything that they say all over again. It’s such a horrible feeling, but I just can’t seem to think nor sleep well.

But enough of this depressing, personal stuff! I’m here to blog, and that is what I shall do for my beautiful readers.

After MCM Expo I arranged to meet my darling Charli again because I just missed hanging out with her so much! We’re going to arrange to go Xmas shopping together in London sometime and just blow out all of our savings… It’s going to be so good! I really can’t wait.

My look of the day!

We first had to take our usual purikura, and I swear I have taken more puri with her than I have with my boyfriend (sorry ;_; <3). It was funny because we were so unprepared for the first set, and so we just had to take another! I have so much fun when taking puri, and we both agreed to meet up around once every 3 months. Hopefully that’ll give me a reason to start saving so that I could spend it whenever we see each other.

After that she took me to this little Korean place (which is in fact called Little Korea, tehe). At first I wasn’t sure what the food will be like as I ordered dumpling soup, gyoza and tofu, but it was delicious. Honestly, it makes me want to eat Asian food more often. I miss eating Chinese food everyday ;_;

That was all the time I had for my lovely Charli, but we both agreed that the next time we meet we’ll go with no makeup and get up early to see each other~ This shall be challenging for me 😛

MCM Expo!

Second post in less than a week?! Looks like I’m back in the blogging mood!

Tell a lie; I haven’t actually done anything interesting until recently, hence why I have things to post about…

Last Saturday I went to my first ever MCM Expo event! I had been very ill last week and was so worried that I couldn’t make it, but on the Saturday morning I felt tons better. Lucky or what? So I phoned the ever so gorgeous Charli to tell her that I could actually make it, did my make and hopped onto the train to London! It took me a while to figure out how to get to the Excel Customs House but I followed some other guys who were going there.

I didn’t dress up or cosplay but I so wished I did because I felt slightly out of place. It took me and Charli like nearly two hours to get tickets to go in, but I saw loads of amazing cosplayers! Because there were so many people I unfortunately wasn’t able to take many photos ;_; Here are the
photos I have taken though:

I also bought tons of sweets from Sushi Noms, a shop run by my friends Alex and Dominic! You should totally check out their webstore, and possibly like their fb page? ;D

After that I went off to go on a date with my beautiful boyfriend, and we had a Wagamama (of course)! We wanted to go to see Skyfall after that but London was so packed that it was impossible D: So we then headed back to my place but Skyfall was fully booked there too! In the end we just stayed at home watching Wall-E and drinking hot chocolate 😛 <3

Sorry for the really short post… My next post will be of my trip to London to meet Charli where I will have loads more photos 😀 So keep your eyes out for it!

This is a bit of a failure-of-a-post because originally I was going to do another outfit one where I don some oraora clothes, take makeup shots etc… But yeah, it didn’t turn out so great. So instead I decided to do a review!

These lens are sponsored by the wonderful Mukuchu! I have a pair of lens from them before
(my favourite purple pair) but unfortunately they have expired. I was therefore extremely glad to see an email from them saying that they would like to sponsor me.

I’m a bit late creating this post due to unforeseen circumstances that I couldn’t really work around, but despite that they have been really understandable and I am grateful for that.

The lens they have provided me was E301 – Hazel, toric lens for people with astigmatism.

Communication ★★★★★
They always answered my replies on the day or the next day, so I would give them top marks for that! They were really understanding as well because of unforeseen circumstances that meant that this post was a little late, and I really appreciate that.

here’s the lens that came with a little step-by-step guide as well as the case!

Packaging ★★★★★

The lens arrived in an enveloped lined with bubble-wrap, alongside a lens case and a leaflet. So I can definitely say that the lens arrived all in good condition as the lens themselves were wrapped in bubble wrap. I actually prefer having items being sent to me in envelopes rather than boxes because I won’t have to pick them up at the nearest post office or anything.

Comfort ★★★

After soaking the lens in some solution overnight, I decided to try them out the next day. For the first hour they were a bit irritating but as the day went on they were fine. However they began to get irritating again in the evening where I had to take them off because they were so annoying.
It appears that this happens to me with all of my lens, so it might be my actual eye instead of the lens…

Design ★★★★★
At first I thought the design was a bit plain but when I put them on I realised just how pretty it was! It’s perfect for the everyday look as it blends so well with my natural eye colour. I love it!

Enlargement ★
I actually don’t think that these lens are any bigger than my natural eye, so I’m going to give it a low score on that. They don’t make my eyes look large and doll-like, but they definitely are pretty! The “lines” on the design make me look more awake and sparkly.

Overall ★★★★1/2
I am going to give them 4 and a half because I am in love with the design, but the comfort brings it down slightly. I would definitely order from Mukuchu again though because although it takes a while to receive the lens (as they do batch orders) it’s definitely worth it.
