Recent Co*de + Our Christmas Living Room

Good morning cutie ♡ I’m so happy that I have the time to finally write this post! A few weeks ago, right near to the middle of November, I decided to put up all of the Christmas decorations to create the cosiest living room ever. I don’t know about you but this year I’m putting my 100% into the Christmas cheer (usually I just do the tree very last minute and that’s it) because it’s the only thing I can look forward to during lockdown. I’ve actually filmed my whole process over on my YouTube channel which I’ve shared below, but I added more decorations since then, so here are some pictures of how it looks (although now my cat has proceeded to knock off a few decorations from the tree…)

The garland under the TV was a right pain in the butt haha. My hands were so sore and had scratch marks all over them by the time I was done! I was extremely exhausted after doing our living room Christmas decorations so I don’t know how I’m going to manage in future when I decide to do the whole house… Lol wish me luck! 

We went for traditional colours this time like reds, golds and greens, as I was really inspired by our holiday to Germany last year. It was the most magical holiday ever (sorry, Japan!) and I really want to go back again during winter. There’s nothing quite like Christmas in Germany! I’ve actually made a list of all of the places I want to go to over Christmas in the next few years which I might share in another blog post….

And here’s my recent co*de! It’s not stereotypically Christmas but I felt Christmassy all the same. I also baked gingerbread again and this time it was a lot better as I managed to buy a gingerbread man cutter from ebay.

I can’t wait for next year because I want to slowly collect lots of decorations so that we could decorate the whole place!
