Koakuma Ageha: Agejo Buys & Outfits

agejo gyaru, shopping, MA*RS

Oops, I did it again… I bought more MA*RS.

I didn’t mean for it to happen – I found myself yearning for their newer collections after finding peace with the fact that they’re toning down, and before I knew it I bought a few pieces. I managed to sell a few of my old collections to justify buying new things, and I didn’t feel bad for it. Their older collections just don’t have the same effect on me like they used to, and I haven’t been able to wear them because they’re unsuitable for work.

I was good and didn’t buy too much, but as soon as my items arrived I had to wear them right away. The weather has improved so much over here and it was finally time to wear pretty dresses! Aside from MA*RS I bought a DaTuRa top and several things from the Sanrio store, and I also bought a dress that’s perfect for the kyabajo style but I had forgotten to take a picture of it! However I do have pics of me wearing it which you’ll see after some pics of my buys.

It felt so good to be wearing agejo again. Lately I’ve been feeling really bad because my blog name is “Lizzie Bee // Everyday Agejo Gyaru” and I haven’t been wearing agejo a lot lately. I didn’t deserve to have that title, and I was so close to deleting it off my blog when I realised that I just needed to give myself time to adapt. I am a real life butterfly – I just need time to adapt with whatever direction I’m going on and slowly build up a new wardrobe. I don’t think I’m alone in saying that 99% of the time I’m in a style crisis (well, I hope not anyway!)

Until next Sunday ♡

Sugar & Spice

Hey everyone! How are you?
I’ve had a fantastic week (and weekend) so far; I’m back at home with my family and friends and I didn’t realise how much I’ve missed everyone until I had to drive home. I just couldn’t wait to get past all of the traffic! I guess home really is where the heart is.

I spent the first few days meeting my old friends and having good quality catch-up time, and what’s better to catch up then over some shopping and iced coffee? Below are my three outfits on the days that I went out!

Sweetheart
This was my outfit where I met up with my friend Annie, and perhaps the first time I wore “proper” makeup in a long time. As you can see, I couldn’t stay away from MA*RS for long. I’ve decided that it’s going to be hard to completely avoid it so I’m going to keep on wearing it until I’ve built up my hime wardrobe. It was on this day that I started my shopping spree… Whoops.

Top: MA*RS / Shorts: Reveal / Heels: Dorothy Perkins /

Acc: Muse & GOLDS Infinity

I put my hair up because it got way too hot with it down… Summer is definitely here!

Lace & Frills
And this was my outfit when I went to see “The Fault in Our Stars” with my sister! I wore my new shorts and top because it was way too hot to wear the dress with it. I also wore my new shoes as well (which I adore, by the way).

I haven’t really done this sort of style before… It was really “sweet”, but I really like it! It’s completely different to what I usually wear. I followed one of the tutorials in my post “Easy Gyaru Makeup & Hair Tutorials” as I didn’t have time to style it dramatically.

Blouse: New Look / Shorts: Spreepicky / Socks: Primark /

Shoes: Sweet Soul Shop / Acc: Primark & eBay

I know I’m a bit behind but… Have you guys seen “The Fault in Our Stars”? I read the book so I knew it was going to happen but I still blubbed like a baby. I cried so much that my lower lashes were hanging halfway down my face. Not a good look.

Vintage Doll

This was another “sweet” coord where I wore my Liz Lisa dress kindly sponsored by Kawaii Gyaru Shop! I love it so so much, thank you sweetie Enter the code LIZBEE to get a discount!

Bag: Primark / Socks: Primark

Shoes: New Look / Acc: Primark & New Look

So a little bit about the dress… It’s absolutely adorable. I felt like a doll pairing it with my new heeled brogues and lace socks, and it wasn’t too hot to wear at all despite it having two layers (which is great because then that means it isn’t see-through!) It’s really good for that casual-sweet style, and so I wore it when I met up with my friend for a meal and catch-up.

Kawaii Gyaru Shop sells lots and lots of cute Liz Lisa clothes as well as Sanrio accessories!

You should check them out! They are really nice and the owner is so lovely to talk to, and I think she has great taste. So go, buy! Tehehehe. ♡ Don’t forget to enter the code LIZBEE to get a discount!

Anyway, I guess that’s all for today. I hope you like my outfits! Have a lovely rest of the week, and I’ll see you next Sunday! Ciao~

My Successful Shopping Spree

With spring finally approaching I’ve been itching to buy some new clothes. I know, I know, I’m very naughty for even thinking about it but I’ve been drooling over the whole cream and white combination. I want to escape from the black and pink that I’ve been wearing so much over winter!

So I wore it for what might well be the last time on a shopping trip to London with my girl Pixie! It’s been ages since I last saw her and as I might not see her that much anymore I was dying to have at least one final shopping spree and catch up with her. We spent the whole day eating, chatting and shopping and it was amazing.

This was my original look & outfit for the day but I changed right at the last minute because I wasn’t really feeling very agejo-fabulous so instead I opted for a more casual version. I was dying to try on this bow that my friend Amy made me, and it went really well with my lovely MA*RS replica skirt (because replicas aren’t always that bad) with this white fluffy sweater that I, surprisingly, got from Primark! Oh the things you can find there… Even though it’s dirt cheap you’d think it’ll be a really crap quality but I was pleasantly surprised.

When we got there we noticed that there was a new Chinese dim sum so we just had to try it out! The food was delicious, and one of the waiters there was trying to flirt with us (how cute) but we were too concentrated on the gorgeous food. The dessert was even better! I’m drooling as I think about it.

Then it was time to go shopping and oh my gosh it was the most successful shopping trip ever. I actually bought stuff. I never buy stuff on shopping trips! I got my cream colour palette that I had been dreaming of as well as a pretty cool cap that I think would go well with my oraora outfits.

After our few hours of shopping we then went to this Mexican restaurant where we ate more delicious food! I’m still not that great with Mexican it seems as I couldn’t finish my dish! It was yummy though, and I wouldn’t mind going there again.

As I was really enjoying myself I soon forgot that Game of Thrones was gonna’ show on TV! I’m a hardcore GoT fan so this is a new record for me. I didn’t mind though because I tried to make the most of my time with Pixie (eurgh that sounds so pathetic, doesn’t it?)

Anyway, that’s all I have to say about my shopping spree! I guess that it isn’t really a spree as that probably includes around 10 or more items but it’s a spree for me!

Me & Pixie!

Hope you have a lovely weekend! And enjoy the sun, woohoo!

Last Days of Freedom

It’s that time of year when the summer holidays are coming to the close and everyone goes back to uni. Thank goodness I wrote my previous post, “How To Be A Gyaru & A Student” in time! I hope that you all found it useful and are enjoying your new year at school/college/uni.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how my bank is suffering tremendously from the amount of online shopping I do, MA*RS in particular. It’s such a beautiful brand but I really need to stop buying stuff!

A new idea then popped into mind: why don’t I do a budget gal challenge? I’m thinking of only spending £50 a month on gal and each month I’ll go down by, say, £5 or £10, and see if I can survive (haha). My bank will thank me for it and I could then use that money for uni supplies.

Ah, uni. I miss it so much so I’m really looking forward to going back and studying my final year! I can already see my social life coming to an end but I’m going to work my ass off to make sure I could still see my friends outside of uni & work.

So I guess my shopping trip with Charli & Emi will be one of my last days of freedom and of spending! Charlie had recently gotten back from ‘Merica and I haven’t really spent much time with Emi before, but I had such an amazing day! Was very girly filled with shopping (although I didn’t buy much). I went for the more casual-agejo look because although I do love MA*RS I really need to search for new coords that don’t really rely on that brand. I guess I did cheat a little in my outfit as I attached a MA*RS bow that I bought recently, but oh well! At least I’m trying.

We met up in Chinatown to have some food before heading off to Stratford, bursting with excitement to buy some really cute cat clothes that we saw a couple of weeks back. When we got there… Well, we couldn’t find anything! I was so disappointed but luckily I found this amazing cat t-shirt that I fell in love with as soon as I saw it. We then had a look in some other shops before heading to Pink Berry for some healthy yogurt.

Yeah… It ended up being not-so-healthy in the end for me! I had my mind set on getting something with strawberries, kiwi fruit, original yogurt, but that thought flew out the window as soon as the shop assistant asked if I wanted caramel yogurt. I ended up having caramel yogurt with chocolate sauce, Smarties, Belgian chocolate buttons and white chocolate. Not very healthy (and ended up being so sickly).

My “healthy” yogurt
My buys: T-shirt & skirt from Forever21, case from Primark

And that was it! It’s crazy how eating and shopping could take up so much time, but it was lovely nevertheless <3 I can’t wait until the next time I go shopping because I’m going to save up so I could actually buy stuff!

Look & Outfit

Top: Primark  |  Skirt: Primark  |  Heels: DreamV  |  Bow: MA*RS  | Jewellery: Muse

Guess that’ll be it for today! Kind of a short post, but hey, short and sweet ;D

So… Would anyone else like to join me for this budget gal challenge? I’m hoping to expand it a bit more in my next post of the ways I’m going to cut down on spending. Would be awesome to hear your views on this, and maybe some input on what you do on a budget!

Until next time~

Recent buys and current inspirations

It’s been a while since I wrote a post about my inspirations, and I thought that I’d make a new one as my style has changed slightly… I used to love the “natural and sweet” appearance of Gal, but now I’m more into the rokku style! I quite like Agejo too, but with a rockier edge 😛

My main source of inspiration is the beautiful Sakurina, who has always been my inspiration <3 Her eye make is just stunning and I love what she wears! I love how she does her eyeliner as they make her eyes look huge~

Another is Risa, who has an amazing dress sense. It’s a shame that she doesn’t post much about her make ;_;

What I tend to find with Risa’s coords is that they are actually quite simple which is what I love because I’m hoping to create similar looks >//< It sounds silly I know, but I just love her outfits o_O Especially ones with shorts and what-not~

I also tend to find myself reading over Chie & Chika’s posts (although mostly Chie’s!) as I find that they have amazing coords too~

I just love the sweater Chie’s wearing here, as it looks really similar to the one I got from Primark! Whenever I see a gyaru model wearing similar items I get kinda excited lololol~ Feel spesh.

So how has my style developed exactly?

Well before I used to look at models like Yui Kanno (shown above on the left), GuGu and Tsubasa Masuwaka for inspiration because of their “simple” looks (e.g. brown eyeshadow and thin liner) but now I go for the more dramatic look. And this is mostly because of my current favourite magazine Ageha.

Ever since Ageha was mentioned to me months ago I found myself reading it more and more, and I’m inspired by their make and use it all the time! I just love how my appearance can change with slightly heavier makeup~ It’s amazing <3 So now I’d like to share a few photos of Ageha (although mostly coords) that I’m currently inspired by ^^

The scans that really catch my eye are the ones that are quite simple but with an attention to detail to it that makes the whole coord a lot more gal. It’s the way that the models wear the clothes too that I envy… Especially Sakurina <3 My current loves at the moment are distressed jeans, skull tops, cross necklaces and denim shirts~

My gets also reflect what I’m inspired by ^^

I saw the denim shirt repeated a couple of times in mags such as Jelly and Happie Nuts (both of which I read for coord inspiration) and had to buy one because I thought it would look so cute! I also really liked Chie & Chika’s coord in Ageha (as you can see above somewhere) so another reason to buy it 😛 Funnily enough most of my buys are from Primark (’cause I’m a cheap skate lolololol).

(You can see the shadow of my hand taking the pics :P)

I have a love for checkered atm! It reminded me of one of the outfits in my old Get The Look posts, and I thought it would go well with some rokku-casual outfits~ And I was inspired by one of Risa’s coords where she wore a checkered shirt and black vest over it ^^

The top/dress is from Select, and my boots from Primark! I was sick and tired of wearing my other black boots all of the time~ And my issue of Ageha! I’ve collected Ageha for a couple of months now ^^

And a cross necklace that my boyf bought for me! >///< <3 <3 It amazingly goes with any coord really, which I love *_*

My MA*RS set reflects my change… Before I would never buy these kinda’ clothing because I’d rather wear jeans, but when I laid eyes upon it a couple of weeks ago I knew I had to get it! I guess this was the starting point of me liking MA*RS~ ^^

Remember my Golds Infinity top? Well this was actually the starting point of liking Agejo and the more “mature” style of Gal~ I really like Golds Infinity, and I want to buy more in future ^^

I’ve also begun to look at more dramatic hairstyles such as bigger curls, and I purchased my first ever week a couple of weeks ago ^^ I would never have considered getting a wig before because I was too possessive over my own hair colour, but now I’m considering buying more! :3

So yeah. Quite a few changes in my style actually the year; I changed my makeup style from simple to dramatic, my coords from girly to rock, and my hair… Well, its still kind of the same but less girly and childish 😛

I guess that’s all for now! ^^ But before I go I’d like to add a special mention to Amelie for her undying support and friendship! <3 Thank you so so much <3
