kawaii wardrobe transformation ♡

Hey cutie! How are you? ♡

Thank you so much for your sweet messages about my wardrobe situation… I’m really pleased to say that our fly situation has been sorted, and I haven’t seen any flies for the last 3 days!!!! Gosh I’m so relieved. It was really stressing me out (>﹏<)

Now that things are kind of back to “normal” I decided to take this chance to do-up my wardrobe! A kawaii wardrobe transformation, if you will (♡°▽°♡) I’ve been chatting to my bby Rinmero and she really inspired me to make my wardrobe space cuter (although I’m super jealous of her wardrobe).

Offbrand Gyaru Challenge ★ Recent Co*Des

Hey cutie! How are you? ♡ Today I wanted to introduce you to the “Offbrand Challenge!” This is tied together with my latest YouTube video, where basically you put together some gyaru outfits but with completely offbrand items. This is something I used to do a lot when I first started gyaru, especially because back then I didn’t really have any brand items. So here are a few outfits that I’ve worn that are completely offbrand!

What’s New, Gyaru? with DD + cowgirl co☆de ♡

Hey cutie ♡ 你好小可爱! How are you? I’m so sleepy right now but on Saturday I had an absolutely amazing time with DD for her “What’s New, Gyaru?” series! I was really nervous and worried about it but she made me feel at ease (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) We talked about my gyaru journey and my love for himekaji as well as my inspirations and things I didn’t like about gyaru.

I wore one of my favourite Liz Lisa dresses for it, and my outfit was heavily inspired by Yui Kanno! She wore this in the 2010 Liz Lisa Spring Collection and I fell in love as soon as I saw it. It has a lovely ruffle detail at the bottom with embroidered (is that the right term?) flowers all over the denim material. I feel like maybe this is one of my favourite looks this year! If only I took a proper picture of my outfit (*/▽\*) oh well, maybe next time!

How I Live My Gyaru Life!

Hey cutie ♡ 你好小可爱! How are you? Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my last post – I’m trying my best to spread things out so that I don’t get burnout, and I really hope to get my energy levels back on track. Anyway, today I want to publish a post I’ve been meaning to write for a very long time about how I live my gyaru life! I did a YouTube video about this a while back that you could watch. For me, gyaru is not only a fashion, but a lifestyle!

Before we dive right in I do want to add a little disclaimer: this is not me trying to say that the things I mention in this post and on that video are gospel. There is no right or wrong, but this is just my gyaru lifestyle and how I personally view the gyaru subculture.
