YAY, HALLOWEEN! ’tis the season to be spooky and I was so happy to wear my Halloween witch costume (that I bought way back in August) to my trip to Pumpkins R Us. I bounded down the aisles between the heaps of pumpkins of various shapes and sizes, getting the occasional piece of hay stuck to my thigh-high boots, merrily humming the tune “this is Halloween” from the Nightmare Before Christmas. I invited a couple of my close friends with me as they had never been to a pumpkin patch before, and the place was crowded after half an hour of us getting there. The Halloween spirit has really settled in over here in the UK (which was a pleasant surprise)!
I can’t believe Halloween is over already… It was the first time I could actually celebrate it so I went all out – instead of just celebrating it for one day I managed to do something for the whole weekend. I dressed up, splattered myself with blood (fake, of course) and I had so much fun!
Halloween is by far my favourite season! I usually celebrate by hanging all of my Halloween decorations at the end of September so that when I wake up on October 1st, the whole place is perfectly spooky. I also use this time to scroll the web and save as many Galloween (aka Gyaru Halloween) inspirations as I can, and so today I thought I’d share them all with you! I’ve split all of my images into different sections depending on what kind of look you’re going for – whether that’s sexy, cute, or simply scary! Soo… Enjoy!
BTW I found all of these images on Tumblr and tokyofashion, so if you know any of the image sources, please let me know!
Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween! Halloween is one of my favourite occasions of the year, but unfortunately I’m working so I can’t dress up ;_;
But to make up for it, I made some Halloween nails! I got some nail deco from Born Pretty Store which arrived just two days before Halloween! Just in time or what?
I’ve been trying to do more and more nails but I’m still a beginner ^^” I haven’t read got the knack for painting, but I try my best!
The nail deco I ordered were these ones from Born Pretty Store! I was kind of expecting to get the whole pack including the jack o’lanterns but apparently not! So guys please read the options carefully as it seems they only release one design, if that makes sense?
I ended up with the ghost faces which came as a pack of five, so plenty to do some nails! I used four, two for each of my accent nails, so I have one lying around for next year!
They were the perfect size for my nails! I love them!
I also wore red lipstick which I also got from Born Pretty Store for work (working on Halloween sucks) and oh my gosh I love the colour! It’s not too dark so that it drains the colour of my skin, but not too orange either. What’s handy is that it’s small so it’s easy to just take it out and reapply when needed!
I bought some Halloween accessories to wear at work too :3
I really wish I had dressed up for Halloween but I’m super tired.. Guess I’ll just be a real-life zombie then hahahaha =_=
Tired Lizzie is tired… Please excuse my no-make face!
That’s all for now! Have a wonderful halloween! I drew this picture to celebrate too :3
