Kawaii Gyaru Shop Review: Liz Lisa Fairy Tale

Hey cuties! How are you all?

It’s been so cold over here in the UK! I’m actually finding it quite difficult to write this post because my hands are so cold ;_; But it’s okay, I’ve got some tea to warm me up 😀

Today I want to show you these gorgeous dresses that I got from Kawaii Gyaru Shop! The owner, Stephanie, is a god-send. She knew exactly what I wanted and I can’t thank her enough for her kindness!

The dresses that I’m going to show you are both from the brand Liz Lisa, and as predicted, they are absolutely beautiful!

Liz Lisa Organdy Tunic and Sukapan Set

The first one I tried was the Liz Lisa Organdy Tunic and Sukapan Set. When I saw it I knew I had to get it, so I was really excited when she told me that she had a white one in stock!

When I opened it I was amazed by the detail on the material – it reminded me of the patterns on wedding dresses, and it was like I was thrown into a fairytale! I felt like such a princess tehe. There is a tie on the back so you could have it however tight/loose you wanted, with a zip on the side to make it easier to put on.

The skirt has an elastic waist which was quite generous, so that was easy to slip onto. What I didn’t know was that it had built in shorts – this is a definite positive for me because I always get worried of flashing my knickers… So if you don’t like wearing short skirts, this is perfect for you!

Because the set was made from more than one layer it was actually a bit thicker than I expected, so I think that you could get away with wearing it on cooler spring days. However I got really cold in this outfit so I decided to try and show you that you can wear it when it’s cold too!

To layer it up I just wore some thick black tights and made sure there were other black elements to my outfit. Here I changed my jewellery, but a small black clutch bag would complete it.

Liz Lisa Velour Winter Floral Dress

Now this dress is absolutely perfect for winter; it’s made from velour which is a heavier material, but what makes it so thick is that it’s fully lined. Instead of having any zips it has shirring around the back and below the bust which made it really easy to slip into. It’s very stretchy so great for plus-sized gals!

This is actually one of the very few dresses that I have that can be worn both on the shoulder or off, but I much prefer it when it fell just off the shoulders. It added a hint of sexiness, but looks very cute at the same time!

Overall

All in all, I would highly recommend these two items! I fell in love as soon as I took them out of the packaging (which was done perfectly, by the way) and I can’t wait to wear them more often! Kawaii Gyaru Shop shipped out my items in less than a day after I placed my order… WITH a tracking number! How cool is that? And I received everything in around two weeks; that’s from it being shipped from America to the UK!

Kawaii Gyaru Shop has tons of nice clothes on her store, you should totally check it out!

Until next time my cuties

Kawaii Gyaru Shop Review: Vintage Doll

Hey cuties! How are you today? Hope you’re having a good weekend so far! I can’t believe it’s September already… It’s so depressing because I’m a summer baby ;_; But I’m also really excited to see the autumn trends! And perhaps to do some more shopping? *_*

Anyway, today I want to talk about this beautiful dress sponsored by the wonderful Kawaii Gyaru Shop . It’s from the super cute brand “Liz Lisa” which I seem to be falling in love with more and more each day! I’m hoping to expand my himekaji wardrobe but it looks like it’s put on hold as I have way too many clothes.

This is a photo of it that I had taken in my first sponsored review post for Kawaii Gyaru Shop!

Liz Lisa Chiffon Dress

I was really looking forward to wearing this because of the recent change to autumn. I couldn’t want to wear browns, reds and blacks and this dress was perfect for it! It hasn’t gotten that cold that I needed to wear a sweater as it has two layers which makes the dress great for this kind of weather. Plus, I adore the sleeves so didn’t really want to cover them up :3

I couldn’t decide whether or not to wear it with my brown boots but as it’s still quite mild I decided to go with my new brogues! I actually bought these from the kids section (tehehehe).

Dress: Kawaii Gyaru Shop (Liz Lisa) / Bag: Primark / Shoes: New Look / Acc: Primark & Forever21

This dress is definitely a lot longer than the ones I have previously owned, which I wasn’t quite used to! But I think the length is perfect for autumn because it covers the legs more to keep them warm(er). I think the frill at the bottom makes it feel like it’s shorter because it’s quite lightweight!

And, of course, have some selfies! Please ignore my hair… One section fell out when I was sleeping so it’s not as wavy as the others ( •̣̣̣̣̣̥́௰•̣̣̣̣̣̥̀ )

Me not being able to think of anymore poses

This dress is just so perfect *3* I am in love with the pattern, especially because it has red and brown hues… I was looking for some inspo to layer this up so when I went out I paired it with a very light cream coat. I’ll show more pictures in my next post of when I went out with my London gals :3

Overall I would definitely recommend getting Liz Lisa products from Kawaii Gyaru Shop. It is authentic and they always sell really beautiful collections there. I’m currently stalking them for ideas on what to wear for winter (but I must be good and refrain breaking my bank too much). The owner is incredibly friendly and always makes quick responses, and the shipping was really quick too!

They also sell quite a lot of other brands and some Sanrio items too! *_*

Sugar & Spice

Hey everyone! How are you?
I’ve had a fantastic week (and weekend) so far; I’m back at home with my family and friends and I didn’t realise how much I’ve missed everyone until I had to drive home. I just couldn’t wait to get past all of the traffic! I guess home really is where the heart is.

I spent the first few days meeting my old friends and having good quality catch-up time, and what’s better to catch up then over some shopping and iced coffee? Below are my three outfits on the days that I went out!

Sweetheart
This was my outfit where I met up with my friend Annie, and perhaps the first time I wore “proper” makeup in a long time. As you can see, I couldn’t stay away from MA*RS for long. I’ve decided that it’s going to be hard to completely avoid it so I’m going to keep on wearing it until I’ve built up my hime wardrobe. It was on this day that I started my shopping spree… Whoops.

Top: MA*RS / Shorts: Reveal / Heels: Dorothy Perkins /

Acc: Muse & GOLDS Infinity

I put my hair up because it got way too hot with it down… Summer is definitely here!

Lace & Frills
And this was my outfit when I went to see “The Fault in Our Stars” with my sister! I wore my new shorts and top because it was way too hot to wear the dress with it. I also wore my new shoes as well (which I adore, by the way).

I haven’t really done this sort of style before… It was really “sweet”, but I really like it! It’s completely different to what I usually wear. I followed one of the tutorials in my post “Easy Gyaru Makeup & Hair Tutorials” as I didn’t have time to style it dramatically.

Blouse: New Look / Shorts: Spreepicky / Socks: Primark /

Shoes: Sweet Soul Shop / Acc: Primark & eBay

I know I’m a bit behind but… Have you guys seen “The Fault in Our Stars”? I read the book so I knew it was going to happen but I still blubbed like a baby. I cried so much that my lower lashes were hanging halfway down my face. Not a good look.

Vintage Doll

This was another “sweet” coord where I wore my Liz Lisa dress kindly sponsored by Kawaii Gyaru Shop! I love it so so much, thank you sweetie Enter the code LIZBEE to get a discount!

So a little bit about the dress… It’s absolutely adorable. I felt like a doll pairing it with my new heeled brogues and lace socks, and it wasn’t too hot to wear at all despite it having two layers (which is great because then that means it isn’t see-through!) It’s really good for that casual-sweet style, and so I wore it when I met up with my friend for a meal and catch-up.

Kawaii Gyaru Shop sells lots and lots of cute Liz Lisa clothes as well as Sanrio accessories!

You should check them out! They are really nice and the owner is so lovely to talk to, and I think she has great taste. So go, buy! Tehehehe. ♡ Don’t forget to enter the code LIZBEE to get a discount!

Anyway, I guess that’s all for today. I hope you like my outfits! Have a lovely rest of the week, and I’ll see you next Sunday! Ciao~

Where Did the Sun Go?! Gal Day Out!

Hey guys! How’s it going?

I’ve been feeling really down lately ;_;  I can’t really pinpoint the reason behind it but I think it might be the weather? Could people’s moods be affected by such a thing? Whatever it was, I felt constantly exhausted and just wanted to curl up in bed eating chocolate and watching films.

So I was really looking forward to finally seeing some of my friends that I haven’t seen in a long, long time. However nothing seemed to go right that day; the weather was crap, my hair didn’t turn out like I thought it would, and my lashes just wouldn’t cooperate… I was experiencing almost every gaijin gyaru problem that there could possibly be! I got so fed up that I thought “Aah f*ck it” and just walked out the door and made my way to London.

This was my makeup and outfit for the day! Please excuse how crappy my makeup looks… And my hair… And my face in general ;_; At least my outfit was nice though! Would’ve looked better with my straw hat but blame that on the sh*tty weather.

I have to say that I do love these upper lashes though; they were from Born Pretty Store and really good for that “soft” appearance. You can get 10% discount with my code HORNH10 too!

My mood instantly improved as soon as I saw my friends! I soon forgot how crap I looked and just couldn’t stop talking as we had a lot to catch up on. It was only me and Emmie at first so we just wandered around Chinatown and drank Bubble Tea – I got Mango Fruit Tea – before we were joined by Emilie! I missed them so much. It had been almost over a year since I saw Emmie, and two years since I saw Emilie! How crazy is that?

We headed off to Misato (?) for some cheap yet incredibly gorgeous food. It was the place where Pixie took me last time but I couldn’t remember the name! It was so filling though as the portions were huge!

Then it was time to go to the park where we actually spent most of the day. Even though it was really cloudy it was getting pretty humid – typical city weather – and I had so much fun! It was really nice to just chill and chat.

We saw this policeman statue thing on our way there… I just had to
Slyly taking photos hur hur

Our picnic food!

At one point we got onto the topic of ghosts and I told them about when I was mindlessly scrolling through Tumblr and happened to stumble upon that horrible picture from Insidious. Now I’m not going to post that picture but me and Emilie tried to replicate it ;D

Later on we were joined by Yamii! 😀 Emilie tried to teach her how to act like a thug hahahaha.

That was basically all we did for the rest of the day, and before I knew it it was 10pm and I really needed to head home as I was exhausted (but in a good way).

I hope you have a really good rest of the weekend!
