Kawaii Kitchen Inspiration + Shopping List! ♡

hello

Hey cutie! How are you? Today I wanted to write a short and sweet blog post about a project I’m currently obsessed with – my kitchen! It all started with me just emptying out the cutlery drawer, then doing a massive clearout, and before you know it I’m endlessly scrolling online and basically redoing the whole place! Oops. But, in my defence, the kitchen has always been a place I wanted to work on and I feel so excited because it’s finally happening (especially now that my hubby has said I could make our kitchen kawaii AF).

What’s really annoying though is that I’m incredibly impatient; once I have an idea in mind I have to do it STRAIGHT AWAY. Honestly. The first night after I did that massive clearout I couldn’t sleep a wink because I kept thinking about all of the stuff I wanted to do and was constantly messaging my friends lol whoops. Anyway, gosh, I’m rambling now, but here I’ll be sharing the items that I’m currently waiting to arrive and some kawaii kitchen inspiration!

Moments with Molang

Lockdown is… Kind of lonely. I keep caving in and buying unnecessary things just so that I have something to look forward to, but I really do miss hanging out with my friends. Luckily Molang sent me a lil’ plushie to keep me company, and while it’s not the same as having bubble tea with my favourites, oh my gosh I love it so much! It is so squishy and soft and I haven’t stopped cuddling it since. I decided to do an outfit inspired by this kawaii character (after having so much fun doing a Cinnamoroll-inspired one last year).

How to Style a Checkered Dress in 5 Ways

I have to admit, I wasn’t a huge fan of checkered dresses. For some reason I thought that they were only reserved for school uniforms but you know that saying that “it’ll feel so right when you’ve found The One”? Well, I found mine hanging on a clothes rail in New Look and I haven’t looked back since. And seeing Cher from Clueless rocking a checkered suit cemented my love for this print! Here’s how to style a checkered dress in 5 different ways!

Disclaimer: The clothes I wear aren’t necessarily new so I have decided not to link where I have bought my clothes because they won’t exist anymore. So take these pics as more of a visual guide on how to put outfits together!

Pusheen the Boat Out: A Trip to ARTBOX Cafe ‘Pusheen Snack Parlour’!

I cannot tell you how excited I was to go to the ARTBOX cafe in Brighton which, I can say with confidence, is the cutest cafe in the UK. The owners had recently announced that ARTBOX Cafe would transform into a themed cafe every three months, kicking off with “Pusheen Snack Parlour” as their first theme where – you guessed it – Pusheen the Cat is the star of the show. Here’s a little peak into our trip to the Pusheen Snack Parlour!

Please note: as of February 2020, the Pusheen Snack Parlour has now been changed (as ARTBOX Cafe changes their theme every few months).
