My Hime Gyaru Outfits (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

Hey cutie! How are you? ♡ I’ve decided to create a lil’ post on all of my hime gyaru outfits I’ve put together so far! I’m really excited about my hime gyaru journey, and will try and wear it as much as possible with the dresses I have so far. It’s not ideal for everyday wear, so I’ll stick to himekaji and gyaru kei for that, but I do love wearing it when I’m out and about! ♡

I will also link the photos to the blog posts that they’re taken from (´ ε ` )♡

Sunday’s co*de ♡ My husband did my makeup (ノ*°▽°*)

Hey cutie! How are you? ♡ I went for a very casual co*de on Sunday for my video with my love! The challenge was for him to do my gyaru makeup (ノ*°▽°*) I know, crazy right? I had to work super hard to make sure that I was able to post it tonight (even though I just really wanted to sleep for the whole day afterwards haha). But I managed it! I will link it before for you ♡

Beach Break Day 2 ♡ Mudeford Beach

hello decome

Hey cutie ♡ yesterday was day 2 of our Dorset adventure! I didn’t get a chance to write a blog post because I was way too tired Anyway, we decided to go to Mudeford beach which is near Bournemouth before heading back home. The weather was so much better than it was on Thursday – it was so sunny that I actually got a bit sunburnt lol (ノ*°▽°*)

↓↓↓ ♡ Oh btw! I also vlogged about our trip if you fancy watching it ♡ ↓↓↓

Anyway, back to the blog post…

Casual Hello Kitty Co☆De

good evening

Hey cutie ♡ 你好小可爱! How are you? I wasn’t originally going to share this casual co*de because… well… I wasn’t feeling my best that day ( 〃▽〃) The weather had been really cold and rainy (the complete opposite of what it has been today) so I’ve been in a bit of a slump. But I decided to share it anyway because I could always wear this outfit again ♡

Monotone Himekaji Co*de + Making Rilakkuma Chocolate!

Hey cutie! How are you? I had written this blog post this morning but then I forgot to save it so here I am writing this again ( ̄▽ ̄*)ゞ Today I want to share with you my recent monotone himekaji co*de! I really enjoyed putting this look together and it’s a shame that you don’t really see monotone or dark colours in himekaji… But oh well, I guess I’ll just have to wait until more people do it haha…

Snowy Days, Recent Co*de + A New Project?!

Hey cutie! How are you? Weekends have been pretty crazy lately (despite lockdown) as we’re still trying to work on our kitchen. We were supposed to get more stuff done to it the other weekend but then it started snowing really heavily so we weren’t able to go out to get everything we needed. But this worked out quite well as it meant I could have some fun out in the snow (and allowed me to also wear a super cute outfit tehehe).

We never really get snow like this in our part of the UK and oh my gosh, the snow was so THICK! I absolutely loved the soft crunching noise it made when we walked on the snow. Our cat, on the other hand, wasn’t too much of a fan. I wore my favourite Tralala hoodie and leg warmers!

Feelin’ Cute and Cosy! Day Out with Isobel

A few weeks ago I hung out with my friend Isobel to take some blog pics, go shopping, and eat yummy Italian food! It was really sunny but cold that day, so I decided to wear some cosy himekaji outfits. The other day I felt inspired to start building up my himekaji wardrobe again but I’m finding it quite tricky not to just buy Liz Lisa… Plus, I’m not a huge fan of the new stuff, so it looks like I’ll be heading down the secondhand route! I might try and buy some stuff from Ank Rouge if I find anything cute (again, the old collections).

My Fave Non-Gyaru Brands (That Look Totally Gal) + Offbrand Gyaru Tips!

I am a huge advocate for wearing offbrand items, especially over the past couple of years when my favourite gyaru brands like DaTuRa closed down or completely changed their look (MA*RS, I’m looking at you…). Here are some of my favourite non-gyaru brands that can totally pass as gyaru, as well as some tips and tricks I use whenever I go (online) shopping!

Offbrand Himekaji: Pink Blossoms and Floral Skirts

It’s been three years since we went to Japan and yet I’m still pining for their cherry blossoms. I’ve been searching for them in the UK ever since and had planned on going to Birmingham to see if they had any like they do in Japan but, alas, lock down happened so I’m kind of stuck. But during our little walk we spotted this beautiful tree and I couldn’t help myself. Most of its petals were already scattered on the ground so I think we took these photos just in time! I wore a cute himekaji outfit, but the best part of it was that it was all offbrand.

Countryside Flower in the Cotswolds

Gosh, I love himekaji. I was actually thankful that it wasn’t as sunny as it had been because then I was able to wear my new Liz Lisa jumpsuit for my birthday (which I actually bought secondhand – but still “new” in my eyes). I had no idea where my hubby was taking me but he did hint that my jumpsuit would be perfect for it, and it was! We spent the whole day in the sunshine (and some rain) strolling through the countryside and eating afternoon tea in beautiful English manors, and I felt like such a princess. I was definitely treated like one in any case!
