Definitely need a break right now.

Even though I’ve got a little timetable I’ve been stressing about uni work so much lately, especially because it’s coming to the end of the year and this final project is big and yet I’m so focused on one of the smaller projects as it’s due in first. It’s just so difficult working on something that you have no inspiration for, and holding back on the one you really want to do… Oh wells.

Writing this blog post is a nice breather for me because I love blogging. It’s like a little diary to me and people like you beautiful readers really do keep me inspired and motivated <3 So thank you, for taking your time in reading my blog!

I’ve been getting used to using my Facebook page now so that’s definitely been growing. It’s just so nice to post little snippets of my goings-on without having to wait to post on here!

So my lil’ sis had a birthday party sometime ago, and it was great because it gave me a reason to doll up (aha) and it was nice to spend time with her. I didn’t get drunk (mostly because I was worrying about her and everyone else like an old granny) but it was still pretty cool.

People have mentioned that I should smile a little more… So here we go! 😀

I’m still going through that phase of doing gal with no lens, and another reason I have to add to my list is that Mukuchu is closing down! Yes, my beloved Mukuchu, the place where I would get my circle lens because of their reliability and quality ;_; </3 I’m so sad so I might hurry and buy one last pair…

Sponsored Review: Hime Castle

After many months of debate I have finally decided that I’m going to post once a week, every Sunday! So now y’all have a day to look forward to reading my blog ;D

Please note that although this is a sponsored post, all of my thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Moving on, this post is sponsored by Hime Castle! They had emailed me asking if I was interested in a sponsorship, and I – of course – accepted. I had been eyeing their shop for quite a while and was really intrigued on their services and products!

I was quite surprised when I received their package, as I didn’t know what they were going to send me! Was it going to be clothing, cosmetics, a wig… I was so excited but I took care when opening it.

The item came in a sort of bag which (in my personal opinion) is a lot better as they fit much better in my letterbox. There was a cute little card alongside the item as well.

I just love how elegant the type is!

AND IT WAS A CUTE DRESS!

I didn’t put it on until much later because I wanted to prepare my coord to make it look as pretty as possible. My initial thought to when I wore it was WHAT IS THAT COLDNESS ON MY BACK OMAGAAAAH IT’S SO COLD but then I realised it was actually the chain. Whoops. I made sure not to move that much until the chain got “warmer” and afterwards it was fine.

Design ★★★★

I love love love it! It’s so pretty and sparkly, but the only thing I would say is that the sleeves were a bit short as they past my wrists a little bit. Other than that the sizing was fine.

The chain was actually a pretty awesome addition to the design because it gave it a bit more oomph. I haven’t really seen any clothes with this sort of attachment to the back so it was pretty new to me!

Now let’s take a lookie at the detailing on the front.

I really like how sparkly it is as it really does reflect the whole disco thing. The size of the type is pretty in your face as well so that the dress doesn’t look too plain! I absolutely love it. The English is pretty good too ;D Was expecting some type errors or Engrish lol.

I really liked this top! Hime Castle were ever so cute on the communication part, so I would recommend them.

Heeeeeeey Sexy Lady!

*title totally not a reference to Gangnam Style… /cough*

This week has been the first week that I actually put in some effort into my makeup; over the summer I haven’t bothered doing it because I was either staying at home or going to work, and so I properly wore makeup for the first time in ages when I went to Cambridge. Then I stopped for a while, but now I’m back!

It was my boyfriend’s birthday party on Friday – the perfect chance to wear my new skirt! It was my first time wearing it because I wanted to buy some bits and bobs to go with it… I was actually quite excited, I kid you not.

Another reason of why I was excited was because it was going to be the first time I had “gone out” in ages. I can’t remember the last time I felt good enough to actually go out before this (maybe when I went out with the girlies?) Anyways, I had a really really good time… It was so nice to see all of my old friends again!

Anyways, here’s my look for that day! :3

Girl’s Night Out

On Saturday – nearly a week ago – I arranged to hang out with a couple of my friends as it had been forever since I last saw them. One of my friends came round to mine to get all dolled up and have Chinese before heading off into town~

Photo when I got back… No wonder it’s blurry!

One of the main reasons of us going to town was because there was this live music thing going on. It was pretty crowded and freezing so after having a drink (or two in E’s case) we headed over to this other place where they were playing live indie-rock music. At the end we all agreed that the music was vair depressing, but oh wells! It was good to just see them again.

The Pimm’s drink I had! Wow it was so delicious and magical.

I can’t really write more on the matter as we didn’t stay out for long; J had to drive back quite far to get home, and I couldn’t be bothered to spend £100 or something ridiculous on drinks lololol. I did manage to get rather tipsy though! So tipsy that I actually made a vlog (which you can view here). CROAKY VOICE AND SHIZZ FTW!

Whoops.

I guess that’s all I have to write today, I’m sorry for such a short post and not showing a lot of pictures! Tbh I didn’t really take many as I felt awkward taking photos of my look when J was round (didn’t wanna’ be a poser tehehehe~)

Let’s Partaaaay ;D // 3月14日 //

Hey guys! :3 I’m so so sorry that I haven’t posted in a while… It was my sister’s party last weekend so was pretty much caught up in all of the rush of travelling and whatnot, but HEY HO I managed to do just fine and even had the time to doll up! ^^

I wanted to change my hairstyle sooo…. *dun dun dun* here it is! :3

You like?

I used to have a side fringe (as you may or may not know) and I wanted to get that back, but my hairdresser didn’t get it en point :/ So it’s a bit messed up.. D’oh >_<” Not gonna’ lie I was pretty stupid and just went away with le fringe and didn’t really pester her enough what I wanted it to look like. I did mention that it looked slightly weird, but she said it’ll be okay later… >_>

OH WELL.

But yeah. I mean, it looks okay now.. I’m getting used to it ;D

Anyways my sister’s party was fab even though I acted like a mum, always asking if everyone was alright and getting their drinks and so on~ But I had fun all the same! Stef was also invited which was a bonus ’cause I was able to spend more time with him <3 My cousin came over as well which was a lovely surprise! <3

Onto some makeup and outfit shots! :3 And then I guess that’s all for now~
