My Purikura Collection ☆

Hey cutie! How are you? 你好小可爱! I’m so happy that I finally have time to write a blog post (I’ve had a crazy busy week (; ̄Д ̄) ). Anyway, I was going through all of my super old blog posts of past UK gal meets and… I really, really miss taking purikura. I’m thankful to be able to create “fake” puri but it’s just not the same as trying to cram into a tiny photo booth with everyone o(〒﹏〒)o BUT this has also made me super inspired to create more fake puri, and to also write this post where I collect aaaaaall of my old purikura! And try to write as much as I can remember about each one ♡ Okay, let’s go!

Warning: there’s going to be a looooooot of pictures tehehe.

♡ 2011 ♡

This marked the very first time I took purikura and it was also the very first time I went to London! My boyfriend came with me as he was staying over that weekend and my eyes opened to the gyaru lifestyle. Unfortunately this is the only photo I have of it…

I Left My Heart in Tokyo: Gyaru Life in Shibuya!

shibuya 109, gyaru, japan

I remember the excitement building as I stood grasping onto the train handles, counting down the stops on the Yamanote line to Shibuya. I have been waiting for this moment ever since I found out about gyaru – it is the birthplace of gyaru after all, and I couldn’t wait to be walking along Shibuya crossing in front of my beloved Shibuya 109. After we stepped off at Shibuya station I whizzed straight to see Hachiko, the world’s most loyal dog! The story about how he waited for his master years after his death at Shibuya station is one of my favourites, and struck several heartstrings when I finally saw the statue in person.

And then it was time to join the crowd of people at Shibuya crossing to walk towards the beacon of all things gyaru – Shibuya 109. And I was extremely disappointed.

Recent Gyaru Meetups!

Hey everyone! How are you today? I was so happy to see a lot of positive reactions from my last post “What Gyaru Means to Me“. It really means a lot that you guys are so supportive, and looking at my old posts reminded me of the early excitement of discovering a new style. When I saw gyaru I knew that I had finally found “me”! I’m so happy that that excitement hasn’t died down! Gyaru is so amazing.

I’ve been dressing in gyaru more recently which is good because while I was at uni I missed out on dolling up quite a lot, especially when I started working… So it was really refreshing! I also went to some meetups this past week.

A Busy Gal’s Life: Recent Outings!

Hey everyone! How are you?

I’ve
been doing quite a lot recently… Now that uni is over I finally have
more time to see my friends! I was going to do these posts separately
but then my blog would be so behind and I’d get annoyed at myself, tehe.

Meeting up with Charli~

So the first “meet” I had was with my bby Charli It had been ages since I saw her, and I missed her so much ( •̣̣̣̣̣̥́௰•̣̣̣̣̣̥̀ )
We didn’t meet up until much later because the trains were being an
absolute pain, but we did have time to eat some yummy food, take
purikura & some photos! Guess who was the one pulling disgusting
faces? (Idk how she puts up with me :P)

our feast!

She’s so cute (⑅ ॣ•͈ᴗ•͈ ॣ)

My makeup & outfit~ please excuse my boring makeup ( •̣̣̣̣̣̥́௰•̣̣̣̣̣̥̀ ) I had a teeny-tiny cut under my eye
which didn’t help, so skipped out on the lower lashes. Eurgh it felt so
strange! I went for a red & black theme and wore one of my favourite tees and my red lippy

Top: Forever21 / Skirt: New Look / Socks: Primark / Acc: Miss Selfridge & Claire’s Accessories

♡ Day Out with Chewiee & Marie

When
I met up with Chewiee & Marie I decided to try out himekaji again
because I’m falling more and more in love with that style! I’m hoping to
wear it more often in between agejo & other styles, and I’m going
to try and slowly get into hime gyaru. If only I had the money ( •̣̣̣̣̣̥́௰•̣̣̣̣̣̥̀ ) I spent it all over the summer holidays! Boo ( •̣̣̣̣̣̥́௰•̣̣̣̣̣̥̀ )

We
did the usual take purikura & eat delicious food but this time we
also did some karaoke! It was quite funny because it started off with
the stereotypical karaoke songs which then slowly turned into Japanese
screamo & Within Temptation 😛 It was so fun!

I uploaded some photos of my outfit & make in my previous post here

I had Korean Bibimbap! I think that’s what it’s called anyway… It was yummy!

They were absolutely gorgeous in d.i.a, and I wish I wore d.i.a so that I could match ;_; Next time, maybe?

I really do hope I can see these girlies a lot more, together with the rest of the members from our Gal Unit JEWEL! <3

Work Meal

One
of my work colleagues is leaving to go to uni so we arranged to have a
meal together! Luckily I managed to get let off work a bit earlier so
that I had more time to do my makeup. This time I went for an elegant
agejo look as I was still in a bit of a rush.

I realised that I haven’t actually worn this dress since last year. Whoops!

Dress: MA*RS / Jewellery: Gorgeous Barbie & Primark / Bag: MA*RS / Shoes: Dorothy Perkins

The food was delicious but I didn’t take any good photos ;_; I will when I go there again

That’s
all for now cuties! I’m sorry that this is a super long post… I’m
hoping to do gal make a lot more now that I don’t have uni so maybe I
have more interesting things to post!

So what have you been up to these past couple of weeks? Anything exciting? Oh and what’s your favourite karaoke song? ;D

Until next time~

Teeny Tiny Trip to London

teeny tiny trip to london, london photo booth, purikura

It was a lovely afternoon; I had just taken some photos for my beauty review (which you can see in my previous post) and was about to take off my makeup and hibernate in bed when I got a text Chewiee asking if I could meet up with her in London. My friend Amber was free and wanted to see me! She had been in England for about a week now but unfortunately I wasn’t able to meet her because of work… So I was really happy that I had the chance to meet her before she flew back home! I quickly caught the next train to London and before I knew it I was sipping bubble tea and waiting for them all to arrive.
