Yesterday we were kindly invited by Bombay Palace to try out a few of their dishes in return for a review. I was a bit worried about first having recently discovered that I’m allergic to dairy, but it all worked out in the end and I’ll definitely be going again. You might think I’m biased but wait until you read the end of the post!
“Gossip Gyaru here, your one and only source into the scandalous lives of the gyaru elite.”
Today’s gonna be a lil’ bit different to normal because I wanted to show you some Gossip Girl inspired outfits (or perhaps Blair Waldorf inspired outfits haha). Yumi has very kindly sent me some clothes to try out, and have also given me a code so you can get 25% discount on fully priced items with Yumi or Mela branded items. Okie, let’s go!

“Spotted: Lizzie Bee currently waiting for her blind date… Or is it going to be a no-show?”
This is the first Gossip Girl inspired outfit, and definitely my favourite one! I don’t know about you but this kind of gives me those soft Ryousangata vibes. The dress was kind of longer than I expected but that makes it perfect for work. I just had to combine this outfit with a beret though – as a lil’ nod to the iconic Blair Waldorf!
Hey cutie! How are you? ♡ Today is going to be a pic-heavy post because I want to share my Sanrio bag collection with you (✯◡✯) I had done a YouTube video about it in the past but have since added to my collection and, well, it’s pretty much impossible to edit a video so I decided to instead write a blog post! Okay, here’s goes!

Hey cutie! How are you? A couple of posts ago I mentioned that I haven’t been doing very well because I find myself constantly exhausted. This made me feel really down because I didn’t have the energy to do the things that I enjoy on the weekends (making YouTube videos, dressing up, etc etc). Lately, however, I’ve been trying to pick myself up again by remembering to take breaks at work, and wearing sheet masks in the evenings/weekends again! The sheet masks I want to talk about in this post were kindly given to me by MaskTime – who I absolutely ADORE – and I’ll also write some quick bullet points about each mask with pros and cons!
Every Wednesday (for the past year or so) I’ve dedicated to spending a couple of hours in the evening chilling out with a sheet mask. The routine isn’t simply just to improve my skin but also my mental health, and it gives me something to look forward to during the work week! Over the past month or so I’ve been going through Mask Time’s “Glow Setter” subscription box, and here’s my review of all of the sheet masks I tried (and why it’s perfect for Korean beauty and skincare lovers!).

Did you know it’s been 6 years since Kawaii Box first launched? They’ve been shipping monthly boxes ever since, full to the brim with kawaii goodies straight from Japan and so this month’s box is all about having a kawaii birthday party at home. I’ve been really looking forward to this one as they have an exclusive Kawaii Box handbag included, which has a super cute pattern on it, so here’s my review! (And there’s also a giveaway for you at the bottom of the post…)
Lashes are a huge part of the gyaru makeup, although sadly they are harder to get your hands on nowadays (well, ones that are dramatic for our gyaru looks in any case!). I’ve been trying my best to experiment with non-branded ones, so I was really intrigued by what they had at Lashine and decided to give them a go. So here’s my review on the false lashes I received!
Hey cutie patootie! Today I wanna’ share a review of the Oh K! SOS Detoxifying Clay Mask that I bought, that I’ve been using it on/off (in between sheet masks) for the past couple of months. It’s one of the only clay masks that I really, really like, and I can’t wait to share this review with you. So, let’s go!
I had given up hope of going to a pretty cafe that was outside of London, until Isobel showed me a really pretty and independent cafe called Bardia’s in Stratford-Upon-Avon. She promised to take me there after doing our little photoshoot in Stratford Butterfly Farm and I was so excited! I didn’t have much to eat that day, so by the time we arrived I was really craving some cake.
The cafe was tucked away in the middle of the town centre, not too far a walk from Shakespeare’s birthplace and I would’ve walked right past it if Isobel hadn’t pointed it out. It looked so cosy and cute! Ivy hung from the ceiling and entwined themselves around the lights that emitted a soft glow, giving the whole cafe a warm feeling (which contrasted greatly to the cold, windy weather outside). We went in and only had to wait a few moments before we were seated.
Hey cutie and welcome to my very first Face Mask Wednesday! I’ve been wearing one sheet mask a week since mid-last year, and I thought: why not make it into a series on this blog? This might be more of a bi-weekly feature as I want to slowly ease myself into this before committing to doing it every week. Anyway, this week I want to feature the Feferafe Ice Cream Mask that I bought from Mask Time. Yes, I have been given boxes from Mask Time for free in the past (here’s my previous Mask Time review to know more about them), but this time I wanted to treat myself during this lockdown period!
What really caught my eye was, of course, the packaging. I am a sucker for cute things and had to add this one to my basket! I was a bit skeptical at first because it’s usually for those with oily skin (I have dry skin/eczema) but I wanted to give it a go. Here’s my review!
