Me? Well… I’ve not been so good ;_; I’ve been stressing so much at uni to the point that I got ill (and I’m still trying to recover) but it doesn’t really help being ill as I’ve got so much work to do! It’s a vicious cycle, really.
Because of all of this stress that I’m going through I’m going to take a break from blogging. I know I mentioned that I wouldn’t be on hiatus in my last post but… Things keep building up and I’m just in such a mess right now ;_; I’m so sorry, m’lovelies! <3
So I’d just like to leave you with a recent picture of myself and my boyfriend <3
… And that’s when my lower lashes fell off because of my stupid glue -_-
Also, I just wanted to say thank you so much for your incredible feedback on my last post! I received some comments on what other people wanted to improve on in gal on both my blog and on Facebook, and it’s so nice to see that I’m not the only one who’s not that great at hair!
Thank you so much for your continuous support on my blog <3 I look forward to blogging again! I’ll keep you all updated on my Facebook page so please keep on a lookout on there as that’s where I’ll write when I’m back to blogging again.
Apparently the older you get, the less you experience of the year.
Like you know how the year seems to go by really slowly when you’re 5 years old? And how it’s going past really quick now that you’re (x)? That’s because we’re only really “experiencing” 1/x amount of the year. So I’m “experiencing” only 1/20th of it right now.
How creepy is that?
Which is why I was incredibly surprised when I realised that it was time to write about blog post! I’ve been so caught up with my dissertation that it’s Thursday before I even knew it. Damn. Didn’t help that I was stressed because I was an idiot and tipped a pint of summer fruits squash over my laptop so had to wait for it to dry and pray that it worked okay.
It turned out okay – it has been okay so far though – so now I’m able to write this blog post. Woop woop!
Quite a bit has happened since I last posted; I met up with my gorgeous girly Charli to go for one last bit of shopping before uni started, and I was extra careful not to splurge. Go me! I managed to find that meow crop sweater that I had been looking for for ages, and also got my hands on an Ageha issue <3
First day at uni was pretty good; I got to see my classmates again and managed to talk to one of my lecturers about my dissertation so that I’m now ready to start researching my ass off. It’s a good thing I like researching new things because I’d totally be having panic attacks right now…
I decided to doll up because I had aaaaages before I had to go into uni, and wanted to go for the more “gyaru-kei” look that Chie & Chika do.

On the second day I was feeling a bit crap because of all of the fandango with my laptop, and dolling up actually made me feel a hell of a lot better. How strange!
Last thing before I go; Gal VIP released a new issue! I know you have been waiting so long for this release, but the editors and staff (including moi) worked really hard for this one and we hope that you will thoroughly enjoy reading it! We’ve even covered an article about how to deal with haters, and with this comm… Well, you should definitely check it out.
So I finally enrolled onto my final year at uni, and I’m kinda’ stressing out about it because I just know that a) my social life is pretty much going to end and b) I’m going to go back to my workaholic self.
But oh wells! I can do it this year! I won’t be a zombie, promise! I’ll be forever fabulous and can get through this stressful year (hopefully).
Because the enrolment wasn’t to start until later I actually managed to have the time to doll up. It’s funny because I wasn’t originally going to doll up, but while I was doing my makeup I thought, “Well I might as well add some contouring… Hmm maybe some eye shadow… But that means I have to put liner and some lashes on…” So I ended up with a made-up face instead of a bare one. Whoops!
I went for the more sophisticated look because I’m hoping to drift into the onee gal scene a bit more for uni and incorporate it into my agejo style. Plus I wanted to try out this new “blazer” I bought from Primark.

The enrolment process was pretty easy, but for the first few hours we talked about our dissertation… And right now I’m stressing and panicking about it because I really don’t know what to write about and it’s due in in January ;_; Guess I won’t be having much of a Xmas then!
But it was lovely to see all of my friends again :3 Some can’t make it onto the final year and I’m going to miss them so much ❤ It’s going to be hectic but we can do it! >//<
Oh and and I finally have my MA*RS bags and purse! They arrived at my boyfriend’s house so he brought them over when he came round to see me after my enrolment. They’re so gorgeous *_* It’s a shame that they haven’t got zips but I still love them ❤ Can’t wait to use them!
And now that’s it! No more buying brand (she says). Need to save up for uni supplies and getting my portfolio put together!
Eurgh sorry that this is an extremely small post… But I haven’t done an outfit post in ages so I guess you can let me off ;D
Until next time, beautiful readers ❤
(Oh and you might’ve realised.. I love using my current favourite songs as some of my blog titles because it makes me happy, tehe).
This seems to be one of those most difficult questions that gaijin gals (gyaru) face; how can we still be gal if we go to school/college/uni/work? It is extremely high maintenance, and in some places it’s not acceptable to be caked up in makeup.
Life as a student is… Difficult. I’ve had months where I just slipped on my glasses and grabbed a t-shirt and jeans before heading out of the door. Sometimes I didn’t even bother getting dressed and worked in front of my computer at home with a cup of (relatively strong) coffee next to me. I’m amazed how some people manage to party all night and drink their money away with all the stuff they have to do but I guess they have the time and money for it.
How does gal fit into this busy schedule of mine? I’m not going to lie but I’ve had a lot of difficulty with it and yet I managed to pull through. It’s been two years since I’ve started uni so I decided to write up a little “how-to” post for those going into uni/college/work! Please note that I’m only going to underline the basics, it’s up to you to adapt these to your gal style.
